Even if most of my characters didn't use it, I liked the brothel. I had one mage who, being the sheltered lad he was, decided the first thing he wanted to do when he got out of the tower was to sample some of the finest ladies in Denerim. Unforunately for him "Surprise Me!" was just too tempting and he woke up in a room full of nugs. "You sleep with one goat!" and all that.



I do hope they have one in this, it's just too fun not to. Though I would agree with Tooneyman that I'd have liked to see the love interests react. Morrigan was portrayed as a jealous sort, so I was surprised that she didn't say anything when the aforementioned mage decided to go back and hire something that wasn't a nug whilst romancing her.

Now I will add my two cents into your thread. I think in DA2 if your are at a brothel and you have a LI they should comment on it. Say you are in love with one of your companions and you go in. Well if they are like Zevran whos a **** anyway. S/he would get excited about it. OR say someone like Morrigan would be discussed by the idea of it. I think this would give you some concequences to your relationships with your LI and really give it the moral aspect to it. This way its not just your character getting his/her fuzz on.

Yep, a little more opinion from the party members would be great. Like, "You're not seriously considering staying here, are you?" when chatting one of the ladies up, or guys. LI should defininetly have something to say if you are contemplating a morally questionable transaction. I totally think you should be able to have a sit down drink with your party members and I would have loved more bromantic options with an Alistair type. Like, when you were chatting about his life prior to the GWs, I would have loved a bawdy Dwarven answer along the lines of, "When we get to Orzammar I'll take you to _________ House, home of the best linchen ale and the hottest dwarven women." Followed by a huge slap on the back.

I think it would be great if you could hang out at a brothel and develop friendships with the people working there - they'd recognize you when you came in, talk about what had been going on in your lives, then head to bed for some entertainment and coin.

You could have side missions about helping the place stay free of unwanted elements, help out one of the girls who is being harassed, talk to another girl about what to do with an unwanted pregnancy, place a homeless girl in the care of the mistress, (better than living on the streets) and all sorts of other possibilities.

Hell yeah I'll be like Mickey Roark in The Wrestler.

Origins had one, so I see no reason why DA2 would not. Just make sure to avoid the Elf "female"!

To be honest, I thought brothels were such a tremendous waste of zots. But I really am not a fan of ambient locations and prefer much more energy invested into plot critical quests and plot-related sidequests.
