for those that are having troubles...

on your way there, go stop at the elven camp and pick up about 50 elf roots, and get about 100 flasks, youll eventually use them  (get from your own camp)

PC,  a mage,   take the 3 defencive poweres, and the 3 heals..   having a hex, or weakeness helps, or perhaps  the single target cold and lightniing bolt.. Im pretty sure by lvl 7 you can have 7 or 8 spells.

bring dog, sten, alister...   these guys need very little tending to stay alive.

Use your attack buff on your fighters,  the defensive buff on the milita..   Heal using regen and the green heal on the milita,  use the stamina heal on your own guys..

remove the big action using poweres from your fighters tactics,  use the sheild knock down, or the other stun,  Or dogs stun in timely fasions.  Use Stens armor sunder on heavy bosses,   Sten is also good at helping take down straglers a lot faster.  If you notice a spot in the milita taking more heat than others..  move sten over to them and help get ride of some of them quicker.  Useing your offensive spells can also help this too.

If you do have spirit healer, and the group heal, it makes things a bit easier as you can use that heal for your party members, instead of potions.

Ive even done this battle with just morgian,  with out her having a heal either you just need to make sure you have enough potoins, and a simple stop at elf camp buying 100 roots, and 100 flasks, will give you plenty..   using her flash spell, glyphs, paralisis are big helps..   using a couple tanks with alternating taunts,  like swaping between sten and alister.  If you grab shale as your first stop, then goto redcliff, thats another option.  SHale works well with alister or sten on this one..

I have a play thorugh im doing that has zero healing mage..  Morgan has winters grabs and lightning, force feild, misdirection hex, walking nightmare, and life drain..  main, a dual swords rogue,   sten and shale..  We did it at lvl 12.  Most of the millita survived, not sure exactly,  which ones though.. really wasnt paying attention.

the thing i notice most for mistakes...  tons of people think...  Damage+heal= win..  thats not this game..  yes you can play that way, but really thats old school MMO  dumbed down Dnd..   Any vet dnd player knows that there are so many better spells than just   cone of cold and mass regen..    Heck half the time i make mages with ZERO AOE attack spells,, to much of a pain to bother with moving fighteres out of the way to launch a fireball..   who wants freindly fire damage !

glpyh combos,  paralisis.   petrify, stone fist, forcefeild, waking nightmare, sleep, Hexes..  are just the tip of the iceburg for awsome spells in this game.. and to me way more functional compared to cone of cold.. or a fireball.

Yeah, the ogers are post-landsmeet.

Whenever I do this battle, I go into it with the desire to make sure no one dies, and I came REALLY close, the last time, but then just as the last undead fell, I spotted a fresh militia corpse on the ground. Aw well, if you loot fast enough you can get a full suit of studded leather off them *grin*
