I disagree that the Qunari were "black." Sten had a darker skin tone, but if you think about it, he was in the sun for 20 days straight in Lothering too.
Anyway, in episode 2 of the DA2 podcast, they said they rebuilt the head morph system from scratch for DA2. So it is a possibility.

Aw crap, that means we need a new toolset to create head morphs.

Using the toolset to make elves look silly.

I much rather prefer this one.
Those seriously don't look any darker than hispanic/mediterranean to me. I swear I'm not just trying to be contrarian. There's more to "blackness" than really dark skin.Guns wrote...

Bioware will probably keep your family white no matter what you do with Hawke. It's sort of like the movie, "The Jerk."

We have seen one country/continent in Dragon Age thus far. It would be silly to say in the entire planet in their universe that there isn't any race withe dark skin tones. If Ferledon is based off of medieval Europe it would be silly to think there is no version of African, Asia, India etc.

Not my image nor do I expect toolsets to have been used, but expect this but a thousand times worse on every elf possible.
