Hellfire, that would be terrific. I'm using the worm (tintable option) on a PW and I was planning to play some splashes and other vfx's around it* to make it look like it's popping out, but an Appear/Disappear would be even better!
*If you look at my sig and the fact that the creature will be coming out of water you can probably guess what this is for.

I'll drop by and post something there tomorrow. PlayCustomAnimation is the key--I know for a fact that's how the Illithid AI sucks brains and fun stuff like that(the function *forces* the animation to play irrespective of circumstance and other actions).

I'd heard of the digging scorpians, but since you'll probably need to script the appear/disappear anyway, custom animations sound fine. Digging is just too awesome to pass up on, though.
