Honestly, I don't have time to look over all of it and find out. This made me pretty upset that DA2 wont be like DA:O it'll be like mass effect. which is one of my favorite games of all time but I loved DA for what it was and I liked being a silent hero it made me feel like I was the one talking. Then they go and change all the graphics too so now everything looks crappy (I'm sorry I thought it does), it was fine how it was. Worst of all you're stuck being a human, I was always an Elf and hated the Idea of playing as a human. I'm not even going to buy this game now and I was looking forward to it after how awesome DA:O was.

Sounds like, to me, if you don't have time to look up the changes it doesn't matter much, as a game, to you.

Not anymore, I was once excited and wanted to know everything about this game then I saw the game informer and thought was waste my time now.

one thing: while there are bad things confirmed about the game and I agree on that, the recently released articles are 99% sh*t in "quality" so take them with a dozen grains of salt

Maybe thats the case but still they did two things that really pissed me off, which was changed all the graphics and force you to play human.

They said they changed the graphics because they didn't think the old art was very good, and their new art director (an old Bio staffer who returned to the company) decided to go in a different direction.

It's less clear why they decided to only allow a human PC.

1. you stop playing computer games immidiatly, for youre game standards appear much too high.

2. you get deep depressions because you cant play anymore videogames and kill yourself.

3. you just buy the game, enjoy the surely great story and the almost certainly great game.

4. you leave this forum forever.

5.  You complain on the forums and call out the stupidity.

Which I will do, and continue to do.

Litmus test for brain capability:
1. Do you like ME1 or ME2?
2. Do you approve of neutering DA2?

If you answered ME2 or yes to either of these questions there is a 99% probability that those who disagree are more intelligent than you, and in fact correct.  Enter the red door to your failing life.

In other words, you wasted your time coming to the forums to have others explain things to you that you could obviously do yourself.

Hypocrite.

Doesn't it occur to you that, I don't know, this question has been asked once before? There is a sticky, right at the top, that says "What do we KNOW so far?". I suggest clicking on it, reading up, thank SirOccam for compiling it, then, if you don't like what you see, find the correct thread in which to express discontent.

Sort of off topic, but does anyone here actually think all the changes will pay off for Bioware?

I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but there's clearly been some pretty major overhauls (in my opinion at least), and I'm wondering if Bioware is in fact aiming the game towards a different audience, or relying on blind fandom for their profits, or whatever. They just don't seem to be aiming DA2 towards the fans of Origins.

Yeah. I think it will pay off. Because, time and time again, the fandom overreacts. I know it seems as if the people complaining or disliking everything are the majority, but they're not. They're just the same people, time and time again, that shriek the loudest hoping BioWare will take notice.

Last time I touched something that was sticky, I was rather scarred for life.
