I'd really want a female Dalish elf. I would have liked this most in Origins where I'd play as a male human noble.
I just like this idea that my character would meet a Dalish who really hates humans, more so their "human lords" (nobles) but never actually had any long term contact with a human, noble or otherwise. She only knew that her people were living as nomads, unwanted and even hated in some places, by humans, when, in fact they were the ones to blame for everything bad that happened to the elves.
And in the end, after everything they'd been through, after seeing how truly noble or kind a human can be she'd change her mind. Of course this would only work if you'd play a "light side" character. If you like playing "dark side" I'd be disappointed if she didn't try to kill him.
I definitely would not want an elf who follows the Qun or the Natural Order (i.e. from Rivain). We already had Sten. So let's try to be fair ( <_< ) and give us something that wasn't in DAO. That's not to say I'm against the idea of a female Tal'Vashoth as a LI, as long as it's a qunari.

How about lovin' up to a merchant, who after a while can give you access to better, rarer & more powerful items... Gettin' down with the madam at the brothel might convince her to give you otherwise secret information or side quests... Y'know that sort of thing.

from what i remember, the huge tracts of land is from spamalot, the monty python play
