Smart, open-minded, practical and sarcastic human mage.
Enigmatic, complicated qunari woman.
I'd be more articulated, but I've already written my preferences in a couple other threads and I don't feel like digging up my old posts.

My thoughts, a Copy and past from the "Dragon Age Companions you want thread"
My main request is for a beautiful female dwarf. Preferably a rogue if it's needed to maintain a more feminine image. Sigrun had a dynamite personality but her face tattoos were too garish. Otherwise I would have loved a romance option with her.
I willfully brag that my female rogue Aeducan was one of the hottest created characters I ever made, and one of the hottest dwarves I've seen, either on the forums or in the game. My point: I'm confident that Bioware can make a female Dwarf sexy

Whether Elf or human however, the LIs should be different sorts of characters from your LIs in DA:O. Perhaps a Grey Warden this time around or a Circle mage, or a Dalish rogue/archer, or a mercenary, or an escaped slave from Tevinter, ect. I would hope your two love interest options are not an apostage mage or a foreign bard again.

IF I had to choose, maybe an Elf this time around since both female options in DA:O were human. That, and Qunari and Dwarf women aren't very appealing for a human male, and Hawke of course is confirmed as human only. Qunari women are probably muscular giants like the men, and they are also most likely horned. Dwarven women look like pudgy midgets.

Keep in mind, this is just YOUR opinion, and not the opinion of everyone else. I'm honestly sick and tired of elves and humans as romance options. Its far too common, in my honest opinion, almost as overdone as vampire movies. And honestly, I don't see how Qunari and Dwarf women can be judged as not very appealing for a human male.
MY opinion on the matter is due to the fact that as a more passive man, I'm attracted to more aggressive, tougher women, and Dwarven and Qunari women project that at least as far as looks go. I like my women with meat/muscle on their bones
Plus, being short myself, I've developed quite the Napoleon complex in my life so obviously for purposes of height, I naturally gravitate towards shorter women...

I realize not everyone share's my opinion, but I'd bet on it being the majority opinion. If there were a Dwarf female LI for Hawke I'm fairly certain most people would go for the other opinion with their main character, assuming the other romance option is human or Elvish, or some other race or entity that looks almost human.
On a side note if we could play as any race I might have actually played as a Dwarf this time around, and went for a Dwarven LI assuming there was one. That makes much more sense storywise. When I played the Dwarven options in DA:O I never romanced Leliana or Morrigan, as I thought it was a bit odd for a Dwarf.

I realize your tastes and I obviously know my opinion isn't in the majority. My main concern was that you were supporting preventing a female dwarf LI from happening for male Hawke. As long as you support fairness above all else, I'll hold my tongue.

Female Qunari and romancable by both sexes. She'd be a strict follower of the Qun who for some reason had been sent to the Free Marches and becomes honor bound to you and join your companions. She starts off as highly religious and confused by the female warriors in your group. However she eventually warms up to the freedoms she gets here and the idea of female warriors but manages to reconcile that with her faith. Basically a Qunari woman who is strong and kicks ass without completely rejecting the Qun.
Also a slightly darker dwarven female version of Alistair.

And she should fight with Hawke over the leader status. Alpha male/Alpha female relationships are the best.

I just don't want a re-skinned version of a character we've already seen in Dragon Age and, as Raycher X said, no clichés please. I'd be interested to see a Qunari or Dwarf as a love interest. My totally unrealistic wish is for her to be voiced by Polly Walker
But I want this for my female character.
Was polly walker the one in rome?
Not sure what else she has been in, but she was great in that
