What style female you want for male warden romance?

Elven chick that is like Leliana, but not so mushy about love and being a do-gooder.
Both of these should look at male Hawke as inferior for being human at first, but you should be able to win them over.
A dark-skinned rivaini tribal girl, anything like that.

I thought exactly the same playing as a dwarf, and therefore could never complete a playthough as a male dwarfAedan_Cousland wrote...
Keep in mind, this is just YOUR opinion, and not the opinion of everyone else. I'm honestly sick and tired of elves and humans as romance options. Its far too common, in my honest opinion, almost as overdone as vampire movies. And honestly, I don't see how Qunari and Dwarf women can be judged as not very appealing for a human male.
I realize not everyone share's my opinion, but I'd bet on it being the majority opinion. If there were a Dwarf female LI for Hawke I'm fairly certain most people would go for the other opinion with their main character, assuming the other romance option is human or Elvish, or some other race or entity that looks almost human.
On a side note if we could play as any race I might have actually played as a Dwarf this time around, and went for a Dwarven LI assuming there was one. That makes much more sense storywise. When I played the Dwarven options in DA:O I never romanced Leliana or Morrigan, as I thought it was a bit odd for a Dwarf.

I happen to love your idea very much, but the one flaw in it is that a qunari woman who follows the Qun doesn't fight, and thus cannot be a warrior or rogue, or mage. She would have to have her own philosophy or follow the chantry or some other religion.SelectMongoose wrote...
Female Qunari and romancable by both sexes. She'd be a strict follower of the Qun who for some reason had been sent to the Free Marches and becomes honor bound to you and join your companions. She starts off as highly religious and confused by the female warriors in your group. However she eventually warms up to the freedoms she gets here and the idea of female warriors but manages to reconcile that with her faith. Basically a Qunari woman who is strong and kicks ass without completely rejecting the Qun.
Also a slightly darker dwarven female version of Alistair.

I saw that movie she killed Romans
After seeing this film I swore that I was going to base my female Hawk around Etains (sp?) looks.
Sadly I doubt we'll get wild she-wolf hair like hers ;__;

Yeah, I was thinking that she'd be a Ben-Hassrath, as David Gaider mentioned that female Ben-Hassrath could fight but just not as a soldier would.

@ SelectMongoose, I have a general picture in my head of what you mean by your preference of a female dwarf, but just to make it easier, do you have any examples personality-wise in fiction that you can equate your ideal female dwarf LI to? This was one of the better ideas I've seen on this thread.
Not sure if I can think of anyone from fiction at the moment but I saw her as very sweet deep down and kind to the people she likes. But if she doesn't like you she'll be fairly merciless at picking on you. Pragmatic to a point but when it ultimatly comes down to it she'll do the right thing. She'd probably be casteless or one of the lower castes so she's smart enough to be civil to those with more power than her but also smart enough to not trust them fully based on that fact alone.

This would be nice, maybe some of these too;

Antje Traue from Pandorum
or

Alaina Huffman from Stargate Universe
or

Linda Park fro Star Trek Enterprise
or all three would be nice

Heck if your type of character existed and was a romance option in DA2, MY male Hawke would be all over that

She detests humans for the way they mistreat her once-proud and independent race, and she attempts to kill Hawke the first time she meets him, leading to a steamy encounter where Hawke has to subdue the firebrand by straddling her waist and pinning her to the ground. At this point, you can actually kill her if your character is evil, but, should you let her live, she joins your group.
Initially, she hates you even more for humiliating her in combat, because she's a self-styled "shem hunter", who tracks down and eliminates arrogant nobels who persecute her bretheren. She's not interested in improving relations between the humans and the elves; she wants her people back on top of the pile, and she's pledged herself to her cause. Over the course of the game, depending on how you treat her, her opinion of you will either grow from gruding respect to a deep, illict attraction that tears at her soul and rails against all her deeply held sensibilities, or (if you're a jerk) it will fester into a deeper loathing which results in her attempting to slit your throat in the night near the climax, and a duel in which you're forced to finish her off once and for all.
As a side note, her personality it completely different whenever she's around elves and other races. She's kind and affectionate, even doting and paternal around elven children. Her disdain is reserved exclusively for the shems who, in her view, are hardly better than Darkspawn. This could lead to some funny scenes: for instance, she might launch into an unprovoked rant at Hawke, belitting everything from his morals to his manhood, and then, responding to the request of a dwarf in the group, do a complete turnaround, becoming instantly pleasant, girly and accommodating.

She's a highly skilled archer and duel-wielding rogue, similar in appearance to Keira Knightley's character in King Arthur, but shorter and with pointier ears, naturally.

Morrigan was much more to my liking in terms of personality, but her emotional instability and her general inability to cope with her emotions was really irritating. I liked that she was a strong willed, liberated, powerful woman who did not need you. I'd like to see more of that, but with a sense of emotional stability. Someone who isn't afraid of her emotions, who is strong and independent, and who saves your butt as often as you save hers.
And nothing like Leliana again. She was lovely and all that, but very much a girly-girl. And her heart was so fluid that it didn't really feel special that she fell in love with you. I mean she had a tendency to fall madly in love with any alpha figure that gave her a purpose. She loved her boss Marjolaine, she loved the Maker, and then she loved the Warden. Once the Warden is gone she'll likely just fall in love with the next strong figure that passes before her.
Essentially... what I would like to see is an experienced, worldly, beautiful, confident, powerful and independent woman who is comfortable with her sexuality and her emotions. Someone who is possibly even your better when you meet her...
Of course... I doubt she'll be in the game. Perfect counterparts rarely make for compelling story telling.

Yeah, the female Na'vi. I liked her a lot, and her passionate approach to life made her strangely attractive. Even though she didn't cross my mind whilst describing my character, I think someone with a similar personality to hers would make a very good love interest in Dragon Age 2: strong, quick-whitted, sharp-tongued and feisty, but not as cold, callous and deceptive as Morrigan; fundamentally kind-hearted, but not as sickeningly sweet and sanctimonious as Leliana.

I'm definitely going to base my fem-Hawke on this barbarian goddess (slash ex-Bond girl) after seeing her in the trailer for Centurion, and her attire seems best suited to a warrior/blood-mage combo like the male Hawke of the DA:2 Destiny trailer.
That had nothing to do with Hawke's potential love interests-- sorry. But I've already shared my opinion on that score. Scroll up. lol
