Hello everybody!

i have recently bought a new copy of KoToR for my 360 as i am a huge fan of the game and have always regretted selling it when i traded my old Xbox in for the 360, and have noticed it is very glitchy, from lengthy loading screens to jumpy narrative etc and i was wondering if KoToR II has the same issues before buying.

I know backward compatability isnt 100% but i am finding it incredibly frustrating when it misses cut scenes etc, if anyone has any advice it would be very appreciated!

many thanks.

I've played Kotor 2 on my 360. While the sound tends to crackle, I haven't noticed any game breaking bugs or glitches. Quite the contrary, the PC version has some bugs that I haven't encountered in the console version.

Really the Steam version of KOTOR 1 just has a semi-annoying bug with cutscenes

While an unpatched KOTOR 2 experiences the same problem and a bit longer loading screens

To be honest if you really want to experience KOTOR 2 you should get the PC version.

The original release the in game movies are very low quality but they have released some Higher quality movies and sound packs you can download to improve the overall quality.

With the PC version you can also get the TSLRCM 1.6 mod.  This add-on fixes up a lot of bugs and adds a mass amount of content that was removed from the orignal release.  It adds everything from additional dialogue, new in game cutscenes, new or changed quests, new items, more party interaction, the lost droid planet, and many areas of the game make more sense with the restored content (There were a few times where you would talk about something but that event didn't actually happen on screen.... now they do)

Be aware that KOTOR 2 on the pc has issues with running in Vista and Windows 7. So be prepared to be frustrated with getting it to run. I eventually got it to run by changing files around but I haven't downloaded any mods. I think I might look into the mod suggested here though. It sounds very interesting.
