This thread isn't about my inability to spell or my grammar, its with regards the original storyline from dragon age: oragins please stick to the subject.
*Sigh*... Yes, indeed, you are correct, my initial comment was about space monsters and half-orcs, definitely not about the OP. I apologize for creating such confusion and veering this thread uncontrollably off-topic.
Baaaaack - on topic!
Actually it's about your ultimatum of sorts. You didn't mention, however, in what capacity you'd like for Morrigan to return to? Fully-fledged companion, cameo, temporary companion?

The God Child itself leaves a lot of open space, so I guess we'll hear about her in the sequel.

Do you think Bioware will have a load Dragon Age origins save Option? We might not play as our Warden, but maybe our Warden's story will set up the canon instead of a default playthrough.

Would not want to deal with her with Hawke who has nothing to do with her story. Your Warden should be the one to deal with her and not some other random person who has pretty much nothing to do with the Wardens story.

I don't mean to sound dickish, but at least having Morrigan show up in DA2 only to have Hawke deal with her is a bit like having some randow Jawa confront Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back instead of Luke- the past history between the Warden and Morrigan is prime stuff to be played with in the future IMO.
So, you're saying I should cut any references to Morrigan from DA2? Wow. That, sir, is a brave thing to request. It's like unleashing the hounds!
At this point all I can say is that I personally do not believe the Morrigan fans will be disappointed by what the future has in store.

in my game I made Alistair sleep with Morrigan, so if there is a child it is their kiddo :happy:Dave of Canada wrote...

It seems like Morrigans story is a no win situation.
Either they make it a DLC and everybody whines it isnt in a full game.
OR
They make it in the full game and everybody whines because they're respective Warden didnt make her all Pregz.
Either way, whining will be in effect.
Pretty much. A shame, too. I'd rather have liked my Warden seeing her one last time--and the child for the first--in a scene that oozed 'Lifetime Moment'.
But most wardens who are noble and all that **** would probably slay the god baby before it becomes a threat, further limiting the sample size for that plotline. Unless you'd want to force every single player to go through a "I love you." moment.

Yes, they've already confirmed there will be that option, that the world will be affected in a different way depending on the save we load, and they are also working to let us import also Awakening saves, not only Origin ones.. there will be no canon. Only default if you are a newbie

That would a smart way for Bioware to approach DA2 and leave room for a Morrigan DR effect on DA2. Looking forward for the Morri saga to play out in some form or fashion.

Hmm...alright, I'll leve this thread open, but the OP needs to change the opening post, it cannot remain about a petition as they are against the site rules, but I see most people here are in discussion so lets keep it like that, and once again, have the OP change his post to be centered around Discussion of what's in store for Morrigan

I'd like to think they would possibly make an expansion to finish of the "Original warden & Morrigan" Affiar before moving onto Dragon age 2, as having her in the new game wouldn't make sense.
wont happen. youll propably get something short, but not more. you see, there are still players out there who simply dislike morrigan and it would be pretty unfair towards them to make a morrigan-addon.....

So, Morrigan will be DA3's protagonist? Or perhaps her baby? :innocent:Mike Laidlaw wrote...

Saying that tho, like the game has had all the way through, there could be different options, like 1) Find morrigan, restore the love w/e 2) find her kill her (for all those who dont like her) 3) Some sort of massive venture through the most horrible and evil of territorys to find her/or kill her possible end boss. just some options here, they could make viable options for people of both like and dislike, it end a win win senario.

Yet they made a Leliana add-on despite the fact not everyone likes her. They also brought forth Oghren from Origins into Awakening despite being the fans' least favourite companion.iTomes wrote...

The devs do things they want not what the fans want. If they want to make more Morrigan-focused content, we'll get more Morrigan-focused content.

only not for those who werent really interested into her and just sent her away. what i could imagine is that we meet her in a sidequest or something in an addon, but not that she is the essence of an addon. so, for example, while my warden would try to stop some other evil s/he could propably meet morrigan and say "ohh hey morrigan i always wanted to kill you and now i can woooo" while s/hes actually on a quest to kill some other ancient evil... yknow, usual stuff.

oh, youre getting me wrong. i have nothing against a "lelianas song" alike morrigan dlc thing. what i dont want is a morrigan addon. thats a world of a difference.

You're missing my point. If the devs want to make certain content, they are going to make it regardless of fans' desires. Additionally, those who didn't like Leliana likely didn't get Leliana's Song for that reason; so likewise those who don't like Morrigan (or didn't do the DR or whatever) don't have to get Morrigan-based DLC (assuming that's how it's implemented).

I'm not currently sure on exactly how that would work, but thats what this thread is for views and ideas on how this could be done.. I'm sure many of you have gread ideas, on possible alternate storylines that could be used via the warden aftermath and the runaway morrigan, i want to hear all your ideas

Agreed, it would probably have to be in some sort of expansion form. Aslong as they implament some sort of alternative story to keep those who dont like her happy, to keep all oppinioned parties happy.

i could imagine another addon with starting points that are relatet to the ending. so for example our warden is searching for morrigan or traveling around with leliana and during that another architect like coming from nowhere evil thing appears. thats good stuff for the campaign and doesn't prefer one of the options. now, during our quest to kill the new out-of-nowhere evil we hear rumors about a black heard witch living in a swamp nearby. now we have the opportunity to go after her, but we dont have to. that way everyones satisfied, everyones getting a new game and nobodys prefferred.
