I upped the stats as well as the skills and feats. Im wondering if I pushed them too high for the character level causing the error in the program? Any input?
Cheers

Never used Leto, but your error assumption seems reasonable to me.Godti wrote...

Some feats have prerequisites (like BAB for example) so if Leto lets you arbitrarily select one of those it would likely screw up the game mechanics. Likewise for skills. If you were say level 4 any class skill set higher than 7 would cause the same problem. Cross-class limit is (clvl+3)/2 so at the example level 4 you would only be allowed a skill of max 3 (round down, not up).
If you limited your modifications to just spreading skill points around within the "natural" limits and selected only feats where your PC has met the prereqs, in theory it should work in the OC. I'm guessing it doesn't matter how high you raise the ability levels to remain "legal" as far as the engine is concerned. IIRC the limit on ability is 255 so as long as you allow some room (like maybe 250) it will still process the character at level-up, once again in theory.

All I know is I never touch the skills when I "edit" a character. (Mac guy here, so no Leto, but something similar). To me, touching the skills while editing a PC => bug!No idea why of course...And it probably doesn't have anything to do with the question you're asking. But you're all used to that by now... which should never forbid me to answer a question no matter what.
Well it was sort of what I was guessing! Either way I always appreciate input rather than having no responses to my threads. Thanks!

So what is the skill limit if your character is just a single class?
You miss HipMaestro's point. It is not about multiclassing your character, it is about whether your character class has a particular skill as a class skill. If it is a class skill then lvl+3 is the legal limit. If it is not a class skill then (lvl+3)/2 (rounded down) is the limit.
Anyway, so long as you stay within the limits Hip mentioned (255) i think your original problem can be solved by editing nwnplayer.ini which is in your NWN folder. (It opens with notepad). Remember to make a backup before you do any editing!
1 find the line "Single Player Enforce Legal Characters=1"
2 change the 1 to 0 (zero)
3 save and try it again.
I do feel I have to say that the OC is very easy and you really don't need to do any cheating, but it's your game, play as you like *grin*.
Have fun

When I first heard about a character editor I was expecting that it would allow me to give my male characters bigger muscles and my female characters bigger... ummm... uhhhh.... attributes.
But after reading the Vault description(s), that's really not the what it does, does it? :innocent:
I should mention, the increasing quality of the remodelling is in direct inverse proportion to the attribute increases imho,
...but that doesn't usually stop men. *cheeky grin*.
Male attributes on the other hand, only come in one size on the vault.; BIG!
Wonder why? :innocent:
