(Some spoilers ahead!)

So, like may others, I have a "ME2 has stopped working error," but mine seems different. I've been playing the game since I bought it on the day it came out, and its been working perfectly until recently.  Couple weeks ago I started a new character. I had just gotten to the final collector battle on the collector base, when one of my characters died because I stupidly chose the wrong team leader. I wanted to load up a save from before the mission to restart, but they were all overwritten with newer ones already on the base. So, I downloaded the ME2 save editor, wanting to see if I could set my save back to before the beginning of the mission. I soon realized this wouldn't work. Afterwards, trying to play again, I can get to right before the main menu screen before the game crashes. I've reinstalled twice, and all my drivers are up-to-date. When I tried using the save editor I didn't overwrite any saves I had already made, in fact I din't even change anything. The game just crashes to desktop right before the main menu screen. So, is anyone else getting a similar problem, and is there any known solution? Thanks a ton in advance!

1 of your saves are corrupted, try moving your saves out of your save game directory one at the time.

Thanks, I will try this. I suspected that might be it but I couldn't find the save directory, I'll try again.

Alright, I found the corrupted save and removed it, and the game works now. Problem is, its my current save game. My entire level 30, 100% completion game is corrupted. I know its a long shot, but is there any way I could try and recover it?
