After running into some interesting unused Citadel dialogue, I decided to try something with the save editor.  I think it worked out pretty well:

If you wanna see it with Meershep, you'll have to do it yourself.  Here's the procedure:

1. Go to the Citadel for the first time.  Save.
2. Now, head to the Presidium, have your little meeting and save. Or open some other save that already has access to it,  Go there, and save.
3.  Open the Presidium save in the editor, and click on the "Raw" tab.
4.  Expand the "Position" item, and write down/copy the coordinates.
5.  Now, open up the "First Visit" save, go to the "Raw" tab, expand the "Position" item, and replace the coordinates with the ones you got from the save in Anderson's office.
6.  Save your changes.
7.  Load it up.  The meeting with Anderson should instantly trigger.
8.  When it's over, exit the office.  You'll only be able to return to the Normandy, but you can just go right back to the Citadel and then trigger these conversations ( I didn't bother figuring out how to get around that, though I'm sure there's a way).

You may have noticed a couple of Turian Security Guy's lines get clipped.  I think it's because this got ditched and they never finished fine-tuning the timings and whatnot.  The audio files themselves are complete.  Oh, and the thing with the scanners not being shut down?  That always happens if you skip past the "Shut it down" line.

I have to say, that you do an amazing job when it comes to finding these hidden audio dialogs...kind of wish they had kept almost all of this stuff...

Hmmm....interesting especially as it does bring up some of the changes that I had heard about but never saw in game.

Good find Didymos! I wish they had kept in the stuff about Chellick, there's a news report or something that mentions Executor Chellick, but I never found anything other than that that talks about what happened. And Garrus even says something about it. I know certain things end up on the cutting room floor for whatever reasons, but it's a shame this did.

The most interesting pieces of cut dialog to me were Mordin having the full range of lines for serving as biotic specialist during the suicide mission. He's got it all - suggesting he can generate a biotic field, the usual moving out and taking cover barks, urging Shepard to hurry. He may have had a very different skill set at one time. Thane and Grunt also have a line to tell Shepard they are OK after taking the bullet as squad leader, they always fail in the released game.

There's also bits where Shepard talks to Mordin and Grunt about a Jack/Miranda style confrontation they had to regain their loyalty, and Kasumi has lines for using AI Hacking, a power she does not have.

Indeed. The game had been tweaked so many times before it was finally released.

I also LOVE "The people at Noveria tried that once. Didn't work."

Wow, that one seems like it really should have been in there.  I always thought it was strange that Grunt never said much about Mordin's genophage stuff.

I really wish I had the PC version so I could listen to the lines pertaining to a Grunt/Mordin argument. I always thought that should have been in the game...

This is great stuff. I'd love to know why that was cut, the stuff about Chellick and Pallin was wicked.

Thanks OP

Poor Pallin. I didn't think he was so bad, and was hoping he'd simply retired.

Didy, these are incredible. Someone should really gather all of your posts like this together in one epic post of win.

Huh Pallin's dead. Retribution said he was alive. Do these cut lines not count as canon then?

Executor Palin is dead? Chelick? Wait, how did that slip by on my four playthroughs?...

Seriously, each of these "Unused conversations" scenes makes me even more desperate for a toolset; even a very primitive and bare-bones one. I wonder what things a restoration project can dig up and reinsert into the game.

Thanks yet again, didymos! :D

I would also really like to hear the unused dialogue from Grunt and Mordin's confrontation. The game is seriously lacking in squadmate interaction, although I can see why they would cut it. Grunt never really cared about the genophage, did he?

Which is why it's safe to say his death is a false rumor, leaving the possibility open that he may be the Shadow Broker after all.

He seemed to care about his clan and people after his loyalty mission. Where this would've gone anyway.

HUH? He's still working as head of C-Sec in the book, alive and well. Yet most think we'll be killing the Shadow Broker in Liara's DLC. How does that work out for continuity?

I don't understand why Bioware did not implement this themselves. It doesn't seem to be too much trouble.

Ok, a little off-topic, I see that visor everywhere in screenshots (like garrus's, but goes accross both eyes)... where the heck do I get it! Is it only through the editor?

You were able to get it through a promotion with Dr. Pepper back when the game came out. They also "re released" it through a Taco Bell promotion a few months ago.

I hear there is a way to get most of the items without actually buying the stuff, something about the codes always working. I don't know if the promotion is even around still, though...

EDIT:  I also thought of why this was ultimately cut.  Shepard was alive for two months after the battle of the citadel.  It would be very very odd for him not to have heard about his death and about Cheliks promotion in that time.
