Hey All,
I've scanned through enough topics in hopes that I would not create a new thread with the same issue, but I couldn't find one, so here's my issue. I have Leliana's Song installed, and it played great (I really liked it a great deal, though the story doesn't seem to flesh out well with Leliana's storyline in Origins). Anyway, I got the Battledress of the Provocateur achievement and the armor shows up fine in Leliana's Song and also in Awakenings for use as well. Interestingly, it does not show up in Origins and I cannot figure out how to get it for use in the main game.
Anyone else have this issue or a possible solution?
Thanks Much!
Battledress of the Provocateur not Showing in Origins

Check the Options > Downloaded Content. Check the enabled content. There's a separate Enabled checkbox for the Battledress in Origins and Battledress in Awakening. Perhaps the one for Origins is not checked?

No, all of them are checked I am sure. It is most certainly a glitch.

I can confirm that it works even for characters/save games that existed prior to either the 1.03/1.04 update or the installation of the Leliana's Song DLC. Make sure that you are logged in to your account at the main menu. Also, verify that the content is in the list of Installed Content. If not, you can install it manually . If none of these things fixes the problem, you'll likely have to fulfil the achievement again (while logged in).

Hi, I'm rather sure it's a glitch, too. Because know what? It was working in my last game. And it is not working in my new game. However, the first time I got it, it showed up weirdly late. Like, in the human noble story, after you go to bed. Something is apparently wrong with the trigger.
And I did install it manually, because the download thing has never worked for me.

It very clearly says that I have the achievement. Redoing it would be rather useless for me.

I have the same problem that Midnight Voyager has. It seems a lot of work for a simple item...

Okay wait. I MAY have a brainstorm here. Or it may be nothing.
Do you still have the Leliana profile/saves, k9medusa? I just realized that I deleted mine while trying to clear some old characters out. And I think I did this after the first time it worked. Perhaps we have to still have those for the script to work properly?
Eh, it's an idea. And worth me giving a shot. I'll check back if it does or doesn't work.

Thanks too all who offered suggestions, but I finally got it to show. I loaded the game logged out, then logged-on to the game and it said I have new content installed. Weird really, since it showed up under the previous setting in Awakenings when logged in or out. Anyway, I'm happy now ;-).

Ooh, wait. I may see part of the problem.
When I started the game while logged out, all achievements show... except the ones for Leliana's Song. When it logs in, they appear. Perhaps there's a problem with how the achievements are logged?
ETA: Definitely a problem with how achievements are logged in the file. I turned the game off and back on and the achievement is gone again.

If it's a problem with the achievements being logged locally, I don't know how to fix this. And it seems that this is the problem. Every time I log out, the Golems/Leliana achievements vanish entirely from the ingame profile. When I log back in, the achievements appear, but act as if I have not actually got them. My online profile says I have them.
I made a script in the toolset that I can run to get the item I earned manually, but that's the only way I seem to be able to make this work.

OK, I think I am in the right spot. So I have downloaded the Battledress... Provocatuer for both Origins & Awakening. Both are showing "Enabled"; however, the "Origins" is Enabled, but states it's "Unauthorized", where as the Awakening one is ok. So, how do I get this "Enabled Origins" to become "Authorized"?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Anyone? Im having these problems too. No Battledress in Origins (works fine in Leliana's song and Awakenings) but also now Im getting Unauthorized, but for Awakening DLCs (IE Battledress for Awakening, Golems Might for Awakening etc) However the Base Mods are fine, along with the items for origins. Weirdest thing.

After you achieve the Provocteur armor in Leliana's Song, the armor has to be authourized for Origins and Awakening. In order to do this, you have to be logged onto the DA servers (ie Logged ON) and have your DLC authourized. You can verify this by looking at the Downloadable content and check the number of Bioware points you have left.
Once you Provocateur amor has been authourized, you won't have to reconnect (ie Logon) to the DA servers anymore. I can play the game off-line and still have all my DLC authourized.
This is how it works on my PC, of course.

Where does the Battledress show up then in the end - will it be in your inventory will Bodahn have it like some DLC items or where will I find it if I unlocked it while still in a Origins campaign besides?!

It will be in the inventory of your character - nowhere else. These achievements can get reset when you patch the game, install the expansion or move your savegames around. The best solution is to keep saves in the various DLC (Hurlock General for the Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana for Leliana's Song) prior to attaining these achievements. This way you can simply load the save and reacquire the achievement. It may be necessary to be logged in for this achievement to be properly attributed to your profile, which is required for the items to appear in other games.

I see for at least one person here, the issue was not DLC authorization, but rather glitchy achievements - that is, DLC achievements become "Locked" again after getting them, and will only appear if you manually log out and back in. A couple of us are experiencing the same problem and have discussed it some in this thread. Logging out-and-back-in does seem to work to get the reward for any new games you start before you once again close DAO.

FYI, this behavior only began to appear after 1.04 has been applied. Whether this is tied to the 1.04 update or the DLC that require it is unknown to me. Clearly, a new system for authorization was introduced and not surprisingly, it still doesn't work right.
