I was wondering what if two Ardat-Yakshi mated and did not know the other one was one of them. Would they both die or would the older one live and the younger one die. Any thoughts

When asari mates with non-asari she is the one who "leads" melding process. She submerges in her partners mind and gets everything she needs to carry baby. I suppose when two asari mate there is always one who is "leading"(the one who gets pregnant). So it is logical that the who is passive will die and the one who is active will live.

Strictly speaking, any two asari mating is socially equated with incest in Asari society nowadays (hence all the "pureblood" hate.)
