for those of you who have played dragon age (and/or awakening) on consoles AND pc:  is the game still harder on the pc than on consoles even after the pc patches fixing some difficulty issues on pc?
if the moderators know anything about this please feel free to answer too, any info would help! :)

I haven't played all the way through on PC yet but the difficulty seems pretty comparable to the Xbox version for me. (note I haven't played on hard or nightmare yet)

thanks for the reply, i started a game on pc on normal as a warrior and at about level 7 i started gettin' my butt kicked, strange since i had no trouble with neverwinter nights 1 or 2 on normal. i admit i suck at bioware's d&d type rpg's but this game seems pretty tough to me. guess i'll have to swallow my pride and switch to easy...

Controls on the PC is MUCH better imo, and that automaticly makes the PC version easier.

i do not know who you take with you but with at the least one DPS mage on your quest it becomes a lot easier

On normal setting on the PC, you will have 50% friendly fire. While on the consoles you need to play the game on hardcore to get the 50%.

Other than that, it's very comparable with each other on the difficulty. Of course, you will have much better control over your party etc on the PC.

pc is a bit harder, but a lot more fun. dragon age was meant for the pc, you can tell. but as far as difficulty wise, pc is harder.

easy is no friendly fire

normal is 50% friendly fire

and when you get to hard your friendly fire is all on and you have to think a lot more than you have to on the previous difficulties, but when you get to awakening its a lot easier.
