 So I just went and purchased all the non-cosmetic DLC, this first time I've done so.  I had to create an EA account, purchase the points, etc.  After I started up ME2 and entered my new account info, it's telling me that I've lost access to the Cerberus network, and that I need to purchase it.  I tried entering my Cerberus network code, but it says that key is already in use.  I purchased that game over Steam, if that matters.  Help anyone?

Ah so when you created the EA account did you link it to this account you logged into here with?

No, that was the problem, but I got it fixed with an EA rep through their live chat. Here's the convo in case it helps anyone else:

: I made a mistake when purchasing some downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, and I essentially have content in two different accounts.

: In the Mass Effect support forum, I found a post by someone who had the same problem, and he describes how it was fixed, maybe it will explain it more clearly. Here is it for you:

: I had two separate accounts for EA apparently that I had set up while using Battlefield 2142. I bought Mass Effect 2 and used the Cerberus Code with my second account. I then forgot about my second account and bought the Overlord and Stolen Memory DLC with my first account. I then had to contact an EA Rep and what they did for me was give all of the free DLC to my first account and change the cerberus code so that it would work with my first account.



Andy: Please give me few moments

Andy: May I know the name of DLC's with which you are facing this error

: Sure, give me a second to look them up.

Andy: Sure

: Firepower pack, Aegis Pack, Overlord pack, Equalizer pack, and Kasumi - Stolen Memory.

Andy: I am sorry it is not possible to transfer these items

Andy: But as an exception i will transfer them

: That was part of what confused me originally, one of my account names isn't an email address.

Andy: May I know the platform on which you are playing?

: The account with just the Cerberus code (not the DLC packs) is blazer463, and the account with those five packs is blazer463@gmail.com
