In Origins I liked how you make your own armor from Dragon or Drakes scales.  In Awakeninging I also like the different things you can make as well.  Like Vigilance and the heartwood item.  I wouldn't mind more items you can make in Dragon Age 2 and more choices on how and what to make it.  More weapons and armor for me.  As well as custom staves.

Crafting will always be a part of DA, it's an RPG after all, however I know you're talking about weapons crafting, actually that doesn't exist.... what they offered in Origins and Awakening is not any kind of weapon/armor crafting at all, it's still pre determined items...... and actually the item set bonus makes it hard to incorporate a real system for armor crafting....

In the end I believe the same system that existed in Origins and Awakening will be there in DA2, but not as free and wide as I'd like.

I think they will have at least a few quests like that. We might even get to see Wade and Herren again, which would be pretty cool. I also hope they improve the armor runes and have some kind of dye system so you can customize your stuff even further.

What I meant was literally make your own items. Not just potions and traps. More unique weapons and armor. Hopefully we can make more unigue Dragon Armor.

Any weapon or armor piece in any game is predetermined, no matter how you look at it they usually already have stats in place. The only thing missing is the choice of which you want to make or if you want to make it at all. I haven't come across a single game that lets you put custom stats on a weapon or armor piece and name it. That is the only way it's not predetermined, and even then they designed it to only give you a few choices so in a way it still is.

I want to be like Vigilance and Wade's Dragon Armor. However it should not be common.

They just need to improve runecrafting as opposed to taking it out of the game. Awakening's system was broken and inconvenient, though it could have been solved if Ambassador Cera was placed outside the Keep by Wade/Herren, Dworkin, and the merchants.
