Way to bring back achievements?

I lost all my achievements and am looking to see if there is a way to get them back. Someone suggested saving character "profiles," I think? ...

I mentioned this to another user a few days ago. The only way I know to regain and keep your achievments is to use that ME2 editor (was mentioned on this forum somewere) or back up the player profile file which is located here in Window7...C:\\\\Users\\\\Your User Name \\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Mass Effect 2\\\\BIOGame\\\\Profile and is labeled Player1
It seams this file gets corrupted and achievements lost if the games crashs, locks, blue screens...etc. The first time I noticed this I was able to reinstate lost achievements by restoreing that file from a windows restore point. If your running Windows 7 you can right click that file and select "Restore Previous Version" and it will restore an older version of the file that may contain your current achievements.
