[Rubbish Hero]

I'm sure many will agree that the ending  of Dragon Age was very unsatifying. I got that big judged queen lady  talking about some crap and then a bunch of text telling you what happend. For such a long game, it's very anti-climatic. I hate mass effect, it is turd, however, the ending shot of shepard against a space backdrop giving a "hero" moment was very good. It was at least satfiying (at least for me).

Will Dragon Age 2 have a better cherry on top of the cake? Like Robot-cop?

The end of Robotcop is very simple but extremely good because the entire movie is about the character being de-humanized and turned into a coke can. It's a simple, quick reply that culminates the entire point of  the movie. becoming a self-explanatory satisfying cherry. Much better than Dragon Age giving you life story of everything ever.

If Dragon Age 2 has a (there is more to come) type ending Lord Of The Ring: The Tower Towers is something Bioware should steal. Gollum gets kicked around and beaten up which makes him loose faith in Frodo or something, and plans to get him killed, having a little rant to himself. The final "follow me line" is a good lead on to the next movie, while closing the current chapter. The shot raising up to what is to come, is also rather lovely. Video games are very poor in this regard, they always come across as cheesy and badly done even today, God Of War III's ending for example.

Well, BioWare is taking DA down the "gripping cinematic experience" route, so movie analogies are as good as any at this point I suppose.

i wouldn't mind some truly epic ending. but it shouldn't be a "it goes on..." thing, but still a real ending. that cant be too hard!

Before it got to that scene, it basically did have a  cherry popper closing off that chapter before they actually went to that scene showing the story will carrying on as a cherry popping cap.

As long as they wrap up everything and don't do some sort of cheap Halo 2/Crysis ending, it probably would end up being satisfying, yes?
