Well the Couslands were next royal family in line for the throne. With Alistair declining (or being forced out) the Cousland character had more claim to the throne than Anora as she is not even of any royal blood (father being teryn of a ghost town my posterior).
But her husband was the king.

It's possible? The male warden would be more popular then anora at this point. He doesnt like being a consort, plays some venetian politics, anora is gone and the warden puts his mistress on the throne. No one going cause your a hero and a cousland. Loghain going to be pissed but atleast he's in orlais.
I was disappointed that this option wasn't in the game to be honest as I would have jumped at it.

I looks to me like you don't really know how monarchy works ...
In times where no willing heir is apparent, a strong and respected member of the nobility will often gain the crown, this has happened many times even when a king was already on the throne, such as Henry VII deposing Richard III.

I was refering to the OP, but only one origin is a noble and there already is someone on the throne. Even if a Human Noble married Anora, he'd have to kill her and even then Leliana couldn't take her place since she's Orlesian and (plus) not a nobleBobad wrote...

I don't think that really matters. I think Fereldan would rather chose a true royal leader. Remember, the people thought that she couldn't continue the bloodline because of a curse that was caused by bringing a commoner to the royal throne. Plus I doubt the best political connection she had (Her Father) wouldn't be a prime example of the Mac Tir family's experience at leading a country.
Plus I hate the ****.

No, Cromwell established a Republican Commonwealth, which was a positive, being an early christian form of the Taliban?, not so positive.

What I'm trying to say is the male warden relationship with Leliana always reminded me of Justinan and Theodora of the Byzantines. Theodora was a former hooker turned Christian and Justinan was taken under a nobles wing.

I fail to see how Republican Commonwealths are any better than limited monarchy in general. In this case, it was much MUCH worse as you pointed out.

No, it is not possible. She is an Orlesian with no claim and the Bannorn would rise up against her.
