How will the voice selection affect the player characters ingame voice? Will we ever hear him/her speak out dialogue or is the voice selection for one-liners like "you die!"?

I also noticed that each option contains various voices. Is there any significance to the chosen voice or will the character only be associated to a voice pattern?

Grunting when getting hit. Have you played NWN? Same way.

I hear the german localisation voices, and they dont fit really. When i create an old warrior his voice must be much darker. Hopefully the main char isnt speaking much ingame :-)

Its just for spouting out in combat one liners, or like in Kotor when switching between party members, "Yes?" "I'm here"

I'm somewhat dissapointed in this area. In most of the trailers I've seen from this upcomming game the characters have been speaking a british-accent english. Why are there only american voices to choose for my male character?

Because grunting doesn't require dialects.

If your character is an Elf or a Dwarf...that's why. They have American accents.

That's crazy, dwarves aren't American. I've lived in America all my life and only seen like, 3 or 4 dwarves.

But yeah, elves litter the streets like so much tumbleweed in the Old West.

I'm an American dwarf. I have the Battleaxe to prove it too.
