Paid for points on EA unavailable on account (points now received)

Is this a common problem?

I couldn't find a way to pay for points on the bioware website and I found that it was possible through EA. So i went in and purchased 1600 points so I could buy some ME2 dlc. EA confirmed the purchase via email and I followed the EA instructions which said to g to 'Profile' and select 'Add BioWare Points'. Did that and my status makes no mention of having received the points. (before anyone mentions it i use the same email and password on bioware as I do with EA, they're linked)

At this stage I assumed that maybe I had them and that I just couldn't see it so I went to the dlc page and attempted to download any of the ones I was interested in. When given the option to select PC or Xbox i select PC it takes me to the mass effect page ... then i go to the dlc section mentioned on the mass effect page and it sends me back to the bioware dlc section and the wild loop begins all over.

Really wanted all of the downloadable content before I start playing ... frustrating given that I've already paid for the points ...

add points page is broke i'm afraid, many people have pointed this out, yet bioware/ea refuse to comment or fix it. Its quite disgusting really but seeing as this forum is littered with posts about the same problem, some of them 8 months old it seems to be acceptable behaviour accoring to bio/ea.

Still having problems here, sorry. I purchased my points via the Bioware site 2 days ago, 1600 of them, and I've still got nothing. Any other avenue I can use? And can I get a refund/transfer? US$20 is a payable sum in my country (Malaysia), but it's still a somewhat sizeable one.

EDIT: Could we also have a timeline as to when this problem can be fixed? This situation is quite surprising for me, especially since the last time I bought points (around when the Kasumi DLC came out), I got them immediately.

I have also a problem witch the points, i purchased my points 4 days ago and have still nothing .

I send 2 mails to and also no ansers.



Can somebody help please.

I'd just like to say that I did get my points in the end. It took about a week to week and a half but rest assured if you're having problems it seems like it will get resolved.

I purchased 800 Bioware points yesterday. It said that transaction was successful and I can see today that it is labeled as finished in purchase history, but I received no point so far. I still have just 80 points.

I am having the exact same problem. I paid, the transaction was successful, but the balance will not update.

I just experienced the same thing... I purchased 1600 points several minutes ago and got a red error message during checkout and... 0 points. I just hope it will be resolved soon, the 13.94 euros appear to have been paid according to my paypal account :s

Same issue here. Paid through paypal for 560 points, money was charged but points weren't added. I already wrote to EA support and just in case filed a reclamation on paypal.

I bought 560 points 30 min ago and payment went fine with paypal and even says in my ea account payment history I paid, and it is finished but my point balance has not updated.

Welcome to the club of Paid For Something, Got Nothing. Seems we gonna pile up here while we wait for Bioware/EA give us the points or return the money. Wait, EA return the money? Not in this life LOL Image IPB

lol yeah I will just settle for the points. Luckily I have ME2 on 360 so I just got LotSB from there, but I have dragon age on PC so I really wanted to play witch hunt today.

It would be nice if a bioware employee or someone could comment here on what the issue is at least.

I got a reply from support telling me since my transaction didn't complete I shouldn't have paid and it must be pre-charge (yeah right). If I don't get my points or money I'm filing a reclamation at paypal.

I bought 1200 points, nothing happened

I bought 1600 points and I got them later...



now I'm ticketing customer support to get my 1200 points... >.<
