And if Flemith is Andraste, she can call on THE MAKER!!

Oh, hell knoweth no fury like that of the Maker... with bride at his side nagging him on. "I thought I told you not to let that Archdemon out of the house! I don't care WHO let him out! You get him back in!!"

And with that, the Maker shut his ears to their pleas and retired to the sofa to watch TV.

My theory is what if after so many years Flemeth would do some sort of a "body-swap" using magic. This would make sense considering her age and her looks. There are some similarities between Flemeth's story and Andraste. Not significant but it's kind of funny that Andraste was burned at the stake like a witch would be...haha.

yes, she could have been a mage... but most of ferelden believes she was not...

What does it matter what 'most of ferelden' thinks? Most of ferelden are peasants or/and strictly religious and therefore blindly accepting of what they're are told.

While I doubt Flemeth is Andraste, it's very likely that Andraste is a mage. I don't see why they would make hints to the fact (such as Wynne's gift) if there was nothing in it. Given the Mage vs. Templar war and that a twist in Andraste's story would be very interesting, I'm willing to believe that Andraste is a mage.

One such twist I believe in is that 'Magic is meant to serve man, and never to rule over him' is misquoted or misunderstood.

I like this idea. After all, we have seen certain individuals worshipping dragons as Andraste before...hint hint... Perhaps there's something to it after all....
