class doesn't really have any bearing on it for me. Out of the characters we've seen so far I thought Alistair, Anders and Nathaniel were the most attractive, and that pretty much covers the spread of classes. It's all about personality and appearance. In DAO I vastly preferred the look of the human models over the other races. In other games I tend to like elves. So, we'll have to see what things look like after the redesign.

Just so. I voted "other" (male qunari in mind), but you said: it's personality and appearance that matters, not class.

Yeah those new Qunari are pretty tasty-looking.

I would even say for me that personality will override looks if it comes down to it. I guess that's not that unusual for a girl though.

Um, what are you talking about? Once it's published then you're going to get the [character] squee threads. It will never end.

A Hawke-sexual female qunari mage (or rogue). I don't want to have to play a male Hawke to romance her.

You can think of Google like the real life toolset. It's not cheating, it's meta-ing.

I think it'd be interesting to romance a Tal-Vashoth qunari. Male or female, doesn't matter. Nerdy male elven mage would also be interesting, as would a dwarven female warrior.

I want an interesting equal, ultimately.

I will keep this simple. No I won't! haha.

I think the best romantic partner is someone who your individual play type character can relate too. This way you no matter what happens in your story. You don't feel left out.

Aww this poll made me sad I am the only person to vote for a female Dwarf Warrior. But I will take a rouge just as well.

Generally depends on the kind of character I'm playing.

My ultimate romance (ideal) would be a male human rogue, a swashbuckler type, complete with sarcastic, witty commentary. No whining, no "talking about feelings" (at least not in the Carth/Alistair sense), and just generally gives you a reason to like him. Dark hair and eyes would be great, an olive to light brown complexion would be the best.

For a female romance, I've always wanted to see the leading female character be Asian or African in origin, complete with natural features, dark hair and eyes, if only to see something different than the standard Bioware female (dark haired Caucasian woman). If she was European I'd like to see a blonde haired/blue eyed (or red haired/green eyed) paladin or mage type. Only because Bioware mainly does dark haired females in terms of romance (Bastila, Miranda, Ashley, Jack, Morrigan) and it would be cool to see a lighter complexed female if she was Caucasian.

For male humans- male human warrior/rogue

For female humans- male human warrior/rogue OR female rogue/mage

For male elves- male elven rogue (Zevran)

For female elves- male elven warrior or mage

For male dwarves- female dwarven rogue

For female dwarves- male dwarven warrior

I like my male romance options to be strong or dexterous fighters, basically equipped for combat and not defenseless. I like my female romance options to be more persuasive and have some element of healing or magical ability, the exception being dwarves (who are not natural mages). Stereotypical I know but there's my answer :)

An elderly blind woman/man with no teeth, personal hygiene or direct connection to the plot - you would meet her/him in a small village selling pegs.

It's not that I forgot about them. It's that the quiz only allowed for 20 slots and I didn't have enough room to include individual Qunari options; they wouldn't required another six slots but I only had four. For consistency's sake, I simply allowed for Qunari choices with the "Other" option.

That sounds nice...? B)

Edit: A female qunari, one that follows the qun. Could be fun since the Qun seems to leave no room for deep romances between individuals, at least from what info I've gathered so far.

But I'd be happy as long as they give a romance option that (in lack of a better word) chalenges the PC. Don't know if that makes sense (sence?).

Tired so I don't bother checking the grammar. :P

Voted other. None of my possible ideals are on that list. The complete lack of archdemons, broodmothers, and qunari was highly disappointing, not to mention the limited gender options.

if bioware actually listens to either of these opinions, i will go for them every playthrough no matter what

although if they dont, not sure if i would prefer a bastila or a morrigan
if they can ahve someone sarcastic AND really embarassed about romance (rather than complaining and denying) then i will be happy
and she cant decide to run off at the end!

Morrigan is a Spell-happy harpy! She does NOT care about XP, Quests, Ease of play or anything.. Its blast this and Blast that and Blast him, for her.. But I like her nonetheless x-( She is just too classy to be completely ignored....

Can I rather have Triss Marigold? She is all of Morrigan's plus points and lacking all her Vices...
