Why cant i be Blackguard?

Okay basically i was aiming for a sort of Death Knight build i guess, Fighter/Warlock/Blackguard and atm im a level 6 fighter and level 4 warlock. Now i have all the requirements for Blackguard, im chaotic evil, i have 7 points in hide, ive got cleave and power attack and i have a Base attack bonus of 9. Yet i still cannot choose Blaxckguard when i level up. Is this prestige class one you have to unlock or have i done something wrong?

No, Blackguard only requires BAB=6 and Hide=5. Do you have at least 5 unmodified points in Hide, that is, not modified by ability scores or equipment? What shows up on your character's skills screen doesn't count, what shows up during level-up does.

hmm i am a tiefling and they get +2 on hide, so that might have affected it. Ill try putting more points into hide and see what happens, thanks
