Question, we beat Origins and started up Awakening, imported a character and had the Starfang Long Sword.  This sword was extremely built up with Grand Master Runes in it.  Upon importing the Character that sword was gone.   This was the main weapon of choice. Went through the Keep and the sword was not there to be found or was much of the other gear.
Other gear missing was primarily the Speciality Gear that i PAID to end up getting from the PSN.  Such as the Blood Dragon Armor.
Now is there a reason behind this insanity? Or did I pretty much get jipped of the good stuff?  Pretty much mostly upset about that sword.. was a wonderful thing

other items & armors cannot be import to awakening... only return to ostagar dlc, items and armor can be import to awakening such as cailans armor, king maric sword & etc...

so basically i spent money on downloads for the game and i can't use any of it. i think this is bull**** and i think i should get something back. i am pretty sure i am not the only one who feels this way. i lost a bunch of gear that i had and now bioware is saying it is lost. talk about a giant scam

go to the general discussion of dragon age origins, find the forums about the release of dragon age awakening... you will see what items that are possible to import to awakening.... this issue is very old... you can also find many cool weapons & armors in awakening... im sure much better armor and weapon you will find in awakening.

it was intended for use on origins only apparently i was sad about loseing the WC armor myself but lo behold some odd glitch makes awakenings best armor set look just like it lol.most of the origins core game items will port such as wades crafted peices ect.. only dlc items seam to come from RTO,leliana,and darkspawn dlc have 1 item that u can get on origins and awakeing once u complete said dlc (lelianna requires you to collect the parts to unlock it) .yes it is unfortunate that we cannot use our payed for items in this expansion but honestly before u reach the end you will find far superior equipment the only things i dident replace were belt and 1 ring lol,and haveing the warden keep dlc you will see the item models for starfang/WC armor set again ;p

Its just the point, got the DLC under the impression that it would be at least imported and kept with the character. I am sure Awakening has better gear yet to lose something without warning like that, if I knew before hand would have ended up selling everything and just keeping the gold. May have to load up a game that was saved shortly before the ending and just sell it.
