Hi, I played Dragon Age today and when I tried to load my last saved place, the file couldn't be loaded, the typical pop-up came up and said that it can't read the disc. I cleaned the disc and restarted the console, then I tried again, but failed. So I went to saves back and it worked.

Now, my problem is that the same pop-up sign comes up at the same place. Just after I have escaped from the fort in Denerim and are traveling to the Arl's estate, half way this pop-up comes up and says that the disc is unclean.

I've tried everything, please help.

happens to me too. sometimes when i play i get a cant read disc pop-up but when i take it out from the 360 than put it back in it works.

this haven't happend until 1.04 and the disc looks just fine for me

edit: forgot to say that it happens more and more often

Remove your disk from the console and close the tray. Turn your disk over and make sure that there aren't any scratches on it. Check the top and the bottom. Put the disk back in. If the error repeats itself try removing the disk, powering down the console, and trying again.



If you still have problems, see if you have a friend or someone who will let you run your game on their console. It could be a disk error, or it could be your laser starting to go.

There is no problem with the disc it self. however i have come to realize that the disc is really hot when you take it out after the cant read disc pop-up,



so it could be that slims overhet the disc to a point that it cant be read?

huh, i didn't thought about that actually.

when i try to install it it says that it can't read the disc. guess it something wrong with it but it looks fine

somehowe i got it installed but it still says that i need the dragon age disc to play the game. Whats up with that?

All games installed to the Xbox hard drive perform a disc check to validate ownership of the game. All of the data is read from the hard drive when the game loads if it is installed there though, so the disc should stop spinning almost immediately after the first load screen is passed. If it does not, or makes loud or strange noises (like grinding, or like a jet plane spinning up for take-off), that could indicate a hardware failure.
