Yes, it's nearly December, and no, forum participation has fallen off again after a temporary blip earlier this month. There's no one to read your messages, and ignoring the Stickies just proves your noobishness.
Between the Stickies and the Archives, that's your best bet if you wake up and take off the blindfolds.
The low readership means fewer, or even, NO answers at all to questions

If both the Archives and the Stickies fail you, and you hope to catch some attention from a live reader here, you won't do that without a proper problem report (the Sticky starting with "Read this First" up there).

Take off the blindfolds when you come in here, if you don't mind!

The archives have not been lost, the stickies are all still there!

In sixteen days, this has only scrolled to the third index page, nevertheless, new arrivals continue to ignore the available resources in the stickies, and are not taking the small time it takes to scan downward an appreciable distance.

Or, it means that many new arrivals scan the faqs, the read first post, etc., and never need to post at all. Perhaps those who are posting represent a miniorty of those who actually *read* and find help on the site without needing to make an inquiry.
