Uhh, this isn't 'just' for the PS3, I hope?

What does this mean all the DLC? or just DA:O with the expansion?

EDIT: If it is the former I can finally get the PS3 version of the game

No, there's also other versions listed for the PC and Xbox 360.

I know some friends that have not bought the game waiting for an edition like this. Is it safe to assume this will include everything minus Awakening? Or will it actually include Awakening?

Huh...you know, if EA/Bioware wanted to be particularly evil, they'd include all the Pre-Order item stuff (like the Blood Dragon Armor, etc) in addition to all the DLC. I'd probably end up buying the Ultimate Edition, since it still irks me I never got a code for the Dalish Promise Ring, or the Awakenings stuff that Pearl of the Anointed or Bregan's Bow (I think those only were available on the PC version).

I know most would find it stupid to buy a new edition of a game I already have (the Collector's Edition, no less) just for pre-order stuff, but I'm that much of a Dragon Age completist.

Does this mean that this is the last dlc?

I would say that it probably includes the CE edition and Awakenings and maybe some dlc like Wardens Keep. But I doubt this is the last dlc. From what I found out when I ordered the letter openers there is to be a Morrigan dlc around september.

This is another waste, I think. I will hold my wallet till they realease a meaningful DLC or expansion. If not, I'll just wait to DA2.

With so many great (FREE) community mods coming in the next months theres no need to get overpriced content.

If this comes with all the DLC and Awakenings I would pick it up for the PC

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?

There is some hint with the letter openers?

As for the Ultimate Edition signaling the end of the DLC- its possible, even if my hope is that we get one last expansino pack to tie off Origins' loose ends seeing as DA2 doesn't appeal to me.

Yeah, I want to know more about this supposed Morrigan DLC too Posted Image

In any case, if the Ultimate Edition comes with something I don't have, it's going to be hard for me to resist buying a game I have already spent enough money on for each new piece of content....

Morrigan dlc?????

This is the sort of thing that should be spamming in endless threads...

Seeing as it is not, I regard it as highly dubious. For such a casual remark, it is a pretty big deal that I have never heard of...

That was a year ago.  The real one is listed on gamestop.  The one you posted was the collector's edition.

Figured but if this so called "Ultimate Edition" is anything like another game I have called Star Wars The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Eiditon, then it should contain the original game, all the dlc, and some other items.

if it has the all the Pre-order DLC, they better release it all on the Marketpalce, PSN etc for those who have already purchased the game. I'm still mad I missed, The Edge.

There was no hint that came with the letter openers themselves.  One of my stands got lost in the shipping and I contacted the company twice which they gladly replaced the missing stand free of charge.  The second time talking to the supervisor we got to talking about how much we liked the game etc.  He told me that they were working on several items like the openers for upcoming DA:O projects, one being Leliana's dagger and Morrigan's staff.  He then asked if I had heard of any new DLC for DA:O at which time I wasn't aware of any.  I was then informed that sometime around september there will be some DLC pertaining to Morrigan.  He said his company was somewhat pressed for time trying to get her staff made in time for the dlc.  Thats all I know.  Just figured I would share it with the community.

Good to know.  I'll wait for something more official before I get too excited, but I do appreciate your sharing this with us.  Morrigan DLC should make a lot of people on this forum very happy.  I wonder if it would be a back story type DLC like Leliana's Song, or a continuation story like the upcoming Golems DLC.  Also, if they are indeed putting this out in September, that would mean they have really hit their stride with DLC, releasing them quite rapidly.  Thanks!
