Can we have a BioWare staff on this? Would be interesting to read that what they have to say about it, actuall reasons and what not.



I must say that if this is true, and it looks like it than Bioware is really not on the right path... a game should evolve, not the other way around...

They do have the right but why do you have to buy it? Is not the burden on them to sell this game to the public? I wasn't aware of some global mandate that required me to purchase BioWare's games.

I've supported this franchise by buying Origins, Awakening, The Stolen Throne, The Calling, Return to Ostagar, Warden's Keep and the OST. If any of this is true, my support to Dragon Age, Bioware and any EA product ends here.



You do what you have to, Bio. I'll do the same. There other companies and games out there, and I have my old BG, NWN, KotOR and JE anyway. I'll check again for the PC version in March. Nos vemos.

The most depressing news I've heard in a while. The computer RPG genre is pretty much dead now.

Make no mistake if this is true it is a shafting of the PC gamer in favour of the console market, on the other hand if that's where the money is for Bioware then who can really blame them, they are a business after all and their main priority is making money, just like any other business, none of us should delude ourselves that this isn't their main priority, I would have a lot more respect for them if they were just honest about this though.

In the end, it's a game, it's going to make little difference to Bioware if I buy it or not and to be honest it's hardly going to keep me up at night if I can't play DA2, there are way more important things in life for me to waste my worry on.

Good luck to them I say, plus cheers for Origins, it was nice to play a game that wasn't dumbed down for the masses.

For ****s sake. This is really stupid, whatever happened to not changing the PC version? Your definitely changing it from what can be read here. And I hope you realize changing your audience will most likely lose you a bunch of loyal PC gaming fans who have been supporting you for years.

Looks like we're already there this is BioWare's Command & Conquer Generals, so shouldn't be long now. I guess after EA fires everyone they'll rename the studio EA Edmonton. Or maybe they'll give it a new name that's totally amped and pusing all kinds of limits.
