Am I disappointed? Yes.
Am I surprised? No.
Consoles sell games. PC gamers pirate games because we have players who can. Hence we're moving more towards a console focus for games that aren't always-online simply because of money. I hate PC gaming pirates. They are the cause of the draconic DRM measures like those implemented by Ubisoft, and are forcing a trend towards console-only gaming, with Cliff Bleszinski from Epic actually getting out there are stating it up front.
Another person with a tunnel vision with no respect for facts or reality. Do you know that Console games are a lot more pirated than PC games, right? And that since they are actually sold in physical disks around the world, someone also makes a lot of illegal money from it, right?
Read CD Projekt message transcription in my previous post. Read what they say about PC market and PC games. You know what they did with their patch 1.05? Removed absolutely all the DRM, which was only a CD check really, from The Witcher. Which they had already given the EE to the owners of the original release, for free. And that was a hell of a HUGE fix pack for a game.
You're blaming PC games for Ubisoft draconic DRM measures? Blame their greed and their need to intrude in lots of players' personal data which they prolly sell. What does EA do with the data they collect from my PC, which if I don't agree to I can't play their games? Does Ubisoft sold more AC2 (I'm assuming you're talking about that game) because of that DRM? Did it prevented it from being pirated? Absolutely NOT!
