Ok, everyone here is a great deal for Direct2drive.com for Jade Empire. The game is only 14.95. I bought it myself and downloaded it and I'm going to say I'm really excited about this so if you want to play the game for cheap, cheap get it while the price is low. Holla! Thank you Bioware for your great effort and giving me one heck of a hook up.
Here is the link for the price and the deal:

Holla! Either way you can still return to the empire and all its glory!

Seriously when you see the price for the game they are giving it away. You will flip your wig. Posted Image

I would like to state the improved graphics for the PC from D2D are pretty good and the game play is smooth. I got the art book and a cool poster. If you go to the official group next to the banner link. You will be able to check them out once I figure out how to pull them out of the a file type and transfer them into another one. Don't worry I will figure it out. hehe, but for the 14.95. The game is just like the old one. I must say. I'm enjoy every minute of it again.

Also, the Xbox version has some texture problems when played with a 360, so the PC version is better in that respect.

If you want to shell out another 4 cents, it is on steam as well.

I'm debating whether or not to get it and burden my computer any more or not...

Its running quite well on my PC. The problem I've had is with DA:O so I've not playing it, but so far Jade Empire is running beautifully on my PC with enhanced graphics. If you think your computer could handle it I would highly recommend it. Also I would also use an eternal harddrive this way you don't put the full burden on your PC. Posted Image

Direct 2 Drive is a rip off. Why pay that much for a download when you can buy the game and physically own it for less than $10 from Amazon. Check Amazon instead.

I like D2D for one reason. I don't have to have a physical disc. Instead I can save the data to a physical disc and if I ever loose it I have the activation code in my email, so even after a necleur war. I will still have the game. HollA!.

Amazon has expensive shipping to Australia and anywhere outside the North America! it's around $40-$50 USD ($60 AUD) for shipping here.

I still have my xbox copy of JE, just that my xbox is at my sister's place (she's using it as her dvd player at her place)

But I would prefer to get the hardcopy, preferrably the limited edition with the silver tin box. I saw it a few years ago, but didn't get it since it costed around $60 AUD. /is a cheapskate

I have never seen the limited edition in the tin box.

I do think the pc version is superior to the xbox though all I have is the xbox now. There were some texture mapping issues with the xbox version when played on the 360. The entrance to the palace, the pilgrims inn in the southern forest and the scholars garden all show some gray scale modeling.

I would be happy just to see the special edition that came out for pc released for the 360. Higher grapic resolutions. Widescreen format. They don't even have the courtesy to do that.

I have not had one problem with the PC version with HD. The game is superior to the one I played on the original xbox and I'm enjoying the two new extra styles and a few enemies I didn't get in the original game on Xbox. Also the land scapes still look gorgious.

Tried two games now from D2D. it's an awesome idea, but it won't install correctly, so, I don't know if this is a windows 7 thing, or an EA game thing (someone told me EA games are a hassle to install correctly on there) so I am going to pass. JE would probably play better on the PC, though. I feel like I'm playing a very old Sega game when playing JE on the xbox, not that that is bad or anything. Love the game, but, still . . . lol
