The HNF had Princessen (after a dog we had in a tabletop RPG). The CEF named hers, um, Morrigan. DCF called it Horse, and m!Surana named his Greagoir.

My brother named his Gorim as well...after he asked me to remind him what 'that awesome guy who killed people for me in the Origin' was called.SurelyForth wrote...
Charon (I did make up a ridiculous story for the name, but really it was because I missed my ghoul).
My Aeducan called hers Gorim and Ron Mahariel named his mabari Tamlen. Let's hope Dog Tamlen isn't quite as prone to horrific judgement as his namesake.
I named mine Trian.

For most of my playthroughs, it's been Shea or Sidhe (both pronounced "shay"). Niece requested that her dog be Courage. I stole an idea from another forumite and named mine Fenris after the fearsome wolf of Norse mythology for one playthrough. Then, I rethought the idea and named the most recent incarnation Tyre after the only Norse god brave enough to feed the Fenris wolf. (Note of interest: Said god lost a hand in the process. *grin*)
