I'm wondering if I can get some collective wisom on what is needed to get the SoZ rest system to work in a custom overland map.  I know I have all the GUI files, I just can't get it to work correctly.

As it stands now, I hit rest, and the screen goes black and then fades back in.  The chat message says "canceled rest"  I'm not getting the GUI popup and it is not moving time forward at all.

I haven't looked into the SoZ rest system at this point since I have usually used my own. But at first glance it appears to be based on the MotB rest functionality. I found some instructions for getting the MotB rest system to work at http://www.wendersnaven.com/node/277. Maybe it will help.

posting code in these forums just gets ugly,

but check out the scripts from my WPM campaign folder as they work for what you're intending just fine

(note the rest script is customised for limited resting)

Thanks Wyrin for looking at this. What scripts specifically should I be looking at? k_mod_player_rest? Is that the script you customized? What other files out of this campaign folder should I grab?
