Same as the topic says. Last words of shepard were like "i know that they will come back". How could it be possible?
- the only existing (in 'our' universe) Reapers ship has been destroyed, so there's no way to open the mass relay through the Citadel (as it was supposed to be the only way to do that - by Reaper ship left in space)
- there's no remnants of Reaper civ (are there any?), so it's not possible to track them/to even know about them
As for above - someone would have to know about 'erased' civilization, undo the effects of the Prothean scientists in the Citadel, and somehow summon then. Is there any reasonable explanations for shepard words?
Reaper's comeback? How could it be possible?

No, not yet. I've just finished the first one. I'm predicting that to have at least as epic plot as in ME 1 they have to use Reaper scheme again. I'm curioius, hovewer, what was the reason for Shepard to think that they will come back after he stopped them once. There is no single trace for Reapers, and as we know for now they won't be able to come back without Sovereign. That can mean on of two things - Shepard is or incredibly predictable to know that the danger is not gone, or he's just madman who see danger in everything, and don't think rationally despite his actual knowledge - which shows that the Reapers will not come back after the events that occured during the game.

Why would a race as ancient and powerful as the Reapers not have a backup plan. Nobody could think that just by shutting down a single mass relay they could permanently get rid of the reapers.
In any case ME2 will reveal more about the reapers' plan.
In any case ME2 will reveal more about the reapers' plan.
