I am stuck at home with dial up internet, and the computer I want to play Dragon Age on has it. I can move my laptop, though it is not actually powerful enough to run dragon age, though i could download the DLC on it. Is there any way that i could download the DLC on my laptop and transfer it to my desktop (the computer that i would play it on)?
OR would it just be a better idea to pay $250 on a better GFX card for my laptop. AND YES before you ask I have a laptop that I can upgrade GFX cards in.

get the GPU... there's currently no effective way to move files around with any certainty of success

I'm in the same position as you are (except the upgrade-able laptop GFX card.) So I'm really hoping there will be a way.

even if you move the files they won't install on the new machine... it has to be downloaded from the server and authenticated...

OK people who have the same problem as me, there is a fix!!!
in the i posted in my above post, and i will post again at the bottom works to install content on a computer that has dial up internet access.
Make sure your promotions are registered to your account, download the necessary files, and follow the instructions in section 4 of the forum post from the link, and TA DA, youve got DLC, just make sure to be logged in when after you install the DLC.
