Yeah well just in case you haven't played and compared Adepts in ME1 vs ME2, they were basically nerfed into oblivion. In ME1 a level 60 Adept could play through the whole game on Insanity and probably not die more than 5 times. Singularity could easily clear an entire room full of enemies. In ME2 you have to strip away all of their defense bonuses before you can hold them in a Singularity, and even then it is limited to 4 targets, or 6 if you choose heavy singularity.

I still loved adept in ME2, and thought it was probably the most powerful class

Seriously though, I almost assumed the Firepower Pack to be that buff to the Adept, guess I was wrong. Back to my original guess, then: a new extra "Bonus Power" you'll get after completing the DLC, which may or may not be class dependant.

Might end up being an achievement based bonus where she'd finish it normally and then her adept playthrough would make her a beast.Estelindis wrote...
I find Christina's comment a little confusing. Why would she need to wait until the SB DLC to start her Adept Insanity playthrough, considering that you can continue to play after the Suicide Mission? Or, if she wanted to have a theoretical SB DLC bonus during the SM, she could play up to 75% and then wait. (Unless she just doesn't want to wait. But one has to wait until one can reach Illium regardless, one assumes...)

There's a notable difference between something femsheps might like(which refers to more then half the game)and her wanting to wait for the new DLC to start her Adept playthrough, as well as her saying they wouldn't wait till ME3 to make them more powerful.aragfore03 wrote...
I think we may be reading a bit too much into this. I recall one of her tweets where she said FemShep fans would really like a new upcoming DLC. The rampant speculation went in the direction of a Cure for Thane DLC. We all know now she was referring to the Kasumi DLC and the dress FemSheps get. I'd say hold off on analyzing her tweets too much. She's trying to tease us a bit, which I think is pretty cool, that's all

Maybe we also get a bonus power from Liara!?jlb524 wrote...
Yeah, it's looking like whatever changes they were planning on making to the biotics will show up in this upcoming DLC.

I'm hoping it's giving powers like throw, pull, and shockwave more effectiveness. I don't see why armor would keep someone from being pushed with a force supposedly equal to a hurricane.
dude, i know. however, this one guy on youtube posted a video on 4 unused codex entries in me2, one of them talking about thermal clips. in there, they said that new innovations like mass-integrated armor were being made to offset the "power" of thermal clips. maybe that is why they are resistant to biotics too.

I hope so...that would mean she is at least a temporary squad mate.
If she is, I'd imagine they'd give her a new biotic power to go along with this biotics beef up. Plus, if she is a mandatory temp squaddy, it would force the player to use the some of the new biotics and see them first hand.
