Apparently Imageshack considered my first image of the Mother offensive and it got deleted. Gee, I wonder what would cause more mental scars, the Mother's boobies or her actual splitted face?

I thought she was nowhere near as monstrous as the dwarf brood mother, but then you get to know more of her story which makes her all the more horrible.

I will freely admit that the Mother gave me a major case of the huzzes, especially the first time her face opened. I had an immediate "Predator" flashback. The Architect is strangely beautiful. I think it's his voice and the grace in his animation.

Between the face and that she is the only non-censored monster in DA so far despite being also the only where censorship would have been an improvement...congratulations to the peole who designed her. Nightmare Fuel indeed.

all the Broodmothers are frightening, you're right. and the entire idea of how they're formed is scary on its own as well.



I'm happy to live in a world without Broodmothers as fun as Thedas seems and all...

Hey, I made the mistake of playing Awakenings on my laptop in an airplane when the Mother first appeared... suffice to say I don't think the person sitting next to me liked me very much.

I awkwardly tilted my laptop away from her and pressed ESC through the cutscene. It was even worse than the other time I was playing Dragon Age on an airplane and got to the Brecillian Forest with the bosom-y Lady...
