Dragon Age Origins not compatible with XBOX SLIM

I have twice got this game for my new slim, both games brand new and sealed, no damage to disc, and from different retailers and both will not work on slim. They crashed at the same point whic is at the loading screen after starting a new game. Anyone else had this?

It was a "bug" in the first 1.04 patch, which they rolled back. It's now fixed and if you are on xbox live you will get the new update.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately, I traded it in again, so will have to get it again when cheap and download the patch as I am on xbox live. I didn't download the new patch, as I didn't know about the bug until now, and donwloaded the bugged patch when I bought it the first time. Thanks once again.
