I really used to enjoy the characters, classes and builds (emphasis on the classes and builds) thread.  I liked discussing the finer points of strategy and tactics, clever ways
to use your powers, what weapon is best in a given situation and how
you should use it,  the best strategy to deal with a given enemy, etc.

But ever since the character love threads got moved here the discussion of strategy has faded away and as a result I rarely stop by here anymore.

I don't have a problem with the character love threads; but they need their own subforum, because whatever subforum the character love threads get put in is going to get dominated by them.

Not much tor eading strategy of others, but the few times I have tried, is a bit disorganized, and annoying to try finding them So.... yeah why not, I understand your arguments.

I left this forum for several months because wading through the character threads was pissing me off. Only came back because I wanted to hear thoughts on the DLC guns.

I agree with this statement wholeheartedly.  I like to find / read / question / debate classes and builds, but trying to find these strategy threads amongst the character love threads is just a hassle.

There's alot of useful information concerning the Omega 4 Relay mission / characters / combos that was compiled by Ecael and Pacifien, tons of great class build threads including great videos / tactics but those posts and the great work / time / effort that people put into them gets pushed to the back pages of the forums.

Nice to see all the support from both the strategy posters, and even the character thread posters, in getting the two types of threads separated. Guess maybe I should change the title of the thread to "Request from the Posters..."

Again, this isn't my call to arms against character threads, just a plea to provide a proper place for all types of threads. Everyone has their own reasons for playing, and I don't see why Bioware wouldn't be able to provide the necessary forums to promote discussion without diluting others.

Plus, you know, maybe this way my Urdnot Grunt thread wouldn't get drowned out by all these strategy threads.

Hey, don't just go supporting my petition because you'll think it'll make me happy. I'm looking for people who honestly believe the two types of threads should never have been in the same forum together.

It'd be nice to have somewhere that the character threads aren't out of place, and this would definitely make it easier to find strategy threads.

Who knows, maybe it'll also reduce some of the animosity I've seen directed at the character threads?

I mostly frequent the character threads, and I'll sign. No judgment on any thread, just think it would be good to have them separate for ease of forum use.
