 Hi!

After all problems with DA: O and its freezings, is actually playable the Europe version of DA: Awakening? (here it is necessary to download the game via PSN)

I mean if  the game needs a new patch or something to play without freezings.

Thanks.

Hello.

I am in Europe and have had no problems playing with Awakening.

I assume that is a lie.

All copies of Awakening - digital or not - contain massive bugs and errors across all platforms. Most companion quests are nonfunctional, and there are a variety of other bugs that has made most people give up.

I would like to play it properly, but unfortunately, there is too much content in Awakening that is simply inactive.

I think the OP was referring to game-freeze style bugs caused by PS3 software updates, although maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, I don't know anyone who's 'given up' because of bugs in Awakening, I've completed it twice without any noticeable problems.

Ok, thank you.

So, if I have all the PS3 software updates, I could play to DA: Awakening with the normal bugs but without freezings, right?

Thank you in advance.

...

Perhaps you haven't seen the threads for the last three months?

They are right there...

I would worry that this is a troll baiting you - Awakening is *famous* for being non-functional.

MOST people cannot get the companion quests to trigger, which means you cannot get the proper ending for the game, and most companions are locked into a "bad" ending unless you can do their quest.

Also, vast parts of the game, like the SIlverite Mines, have *huge* bugs, and many cannot even progress past that point, they remain permanently stuck.

Other things, like items, are not even correctly placed in game, but you will never see those, anyway.

In short, do a quick search and realise the above poster is yanking your chain *very* hard.

Awakening is expensive, and it very well may be a waste of your money if you find you cannot play it at all... relying on someone saying it is "fine" when it has so many issues is *very* misleading.

Can you not read?  The OP actually stated in his post above he was talking about freezings and not the normal bugs that everyone knows are part of the game until Bioware fixes them.

He was asking if it was playable, and I answered it was, because I've played it through twice and there are no bugs that are so major that they would stop me being able to play the game.  The Silverite Mine bug is caused by doing things in a different order than the devs anticipated, so just make sure you go see Velanna first.

I'm not trolling anyone and I'm not 'yanking his chain'.  I think you should learn to let other people speak without insulting and trying to silence them if they disagree with you.

How rude...

No...

The silverite mine bug is caused by *wearing items*... I guess the devs did not intend that.

If you are telling people that Awakening works, then you are misleading them very badly.

Just do a search and find out what percentage of players have a working game, and which do not.

As for the other bugs and the impossibility of getting a good ending due to the inability for events to trigger... that would be called um, "bugs".

Ok, ok, peace.

I've decided not to play DA: Awakening until Bioware solve the many bugs you said, Stoomkal.

Anyway, I'm wondering if DA: Awakening installed using PSN or using a common Blu-Ray Disc is the same version or not.

Thanks for your replies.
