Indeed, Mr. Massani certainly does have a non-murderous side to him. During the Pragia mission, even he is appalled by the experiments done there, stating that he has "done a lot of bad stuff" in his day, but he draws the line at harming children. He may not always be the textbook definition of "good", but he's certainly not the "monstrous murdering merc" some believe him to be. He's a generally well fleshed out character, with a likable personality and some neat stories to tell. He's like ME2's Wrex.
