I was addicted to the Infiltrator and needed to break away from my comfort zone, so I went with the Vanguard. From a sniping, cloaking class to an in-your-face, shotgun class. I loved every minute of being a Vanguard, but when it came time to pull out a save game to try out Kasumi's DLC for the first time, I went with an Infiltrator. And suddenly all my love for the Vanguard was put into the far back of my mind.
Adept took
a lot of work to figure out on Insanity, but the end result was extremely satisfying. I think this class bowls over any other class on Veteran and below, though, where the Adept powers are particularly well suited. But then the Overlord DLC came out, so guess what I did? Yep, time to take another look at the Infiltrator again.
Then it was the Engineer, which I'm on record somewhere as not enjoying as much as I thought I should have. But instead of running back to the Infiltrator, I started up the Soldier playthrough. The adjustment to all weapons all the time rather than throwing a power into the mix every once in awhile took me a bit. I was going to figure out the Assault Rifle, but then... I decided the sniper rifle was even easier to use with a Soldier than it was an Infiltrator. But given the choice, I'll go with the Infiltrator anyway.
I love sniper rifles. I love the Widow. I want to create a "Widow Anti-Material Rifle for squadmate and LI in ME3!" thread. I love tactical cloak. If not for setting up a headshot, I use it for a sneak attack--always did like playing the rogue classes. If not on the attack, I was using cloak to pick up more ammo for more headshots. Most of all, as I won't use tech/biotic powers with the Soldier, I love the tech powers you get with the Infiltrator. Incinerate. Energy Drain or Neural Shock. So much win.
Go Infiltrator. Scope and drop.
P.S. Check sig!
