Uhhh I keep getting spotted..... am I too slow? is my cloak to weak?

Example: I turn on the cloak on freedom's progess before going through the door where the two robots are ready to start shooting..... I have my sniper out beforehand.....

I take two steps.... the claok drops, I'm visible and they start shooting at me!

Is my cloak not strong enough? I think I have 2 or 3 points......   I thought you won't supposed to be seen until you fired a shot....

Check the duration.  Certain actions will drop your cloak quickly.  If you want to keep your cloak up longer, you can evolve it at level 4 into Enhanced Cloak.

All enemies will know where you are immediately after cloak drops, no matter how much sense this doesn't make.

As for the duration, unless you're doing something that would drop the cloak I don't know what the problem is. I can sprint across the entire battlefield before Cloak drops.

I don't know why you'd turn cloak on before entering a door though. You do know the thing only lasts like 5 seconds, yeah?

Don't know if I'd use Freedom's Progess as a judge for how the powers will work for the rest of the game because it's specifically designed to work in a certain way as a tutorial of sorts. When you open the door, you're supposed to be surprised by the mechs shooting you, so it could be the game forces a drop of the tactical cloak for storyline/tutorial reasons.
