I'm willing to bet the clowns from the disappointment thread will start coming out of the woodworks like a bunch of maggots hogging a piece of dead meat and sodomise anyone who prefers ME2 until their eyes pop out.

Great! another thread that will be overrun by RPG Crazies who have the illusion that ME2 was "dumbed down".

Story, Immersion, RPG Elements, exploring were better in ME1. "GUN"play, GFX were better in ME2. Why not put both togethe for ME3 and add more maybe?
Ahhhhhhh..........the great solution that for some reason both illudes C.Hudson/Bioware, and falls on the increasingly deaf ears of those who don't want to actually play an RPG at all.

Actually the opposite of your statement seems to be happening. I know opinions are like ****s and everyone has one but the fact remains that there would be no ME2 if the original Mass Effect had not been created and loved by fans as much as it was or is. My post was not for the reason of trolling-I wanted to state my opinion to Bioware and see if there were anyone else who felt like I do. I guess maybe there were a long time ago. I meant no disrespect to ME2 lovers I just believe (at least for me) the original game had more heart.SithLordExarKun wrote...

Which surprises me really, i have even seen some of the clowns from that thread hog DA2 threads to moan about how ME2 ruined their life and destroyed their marriages. I was expecting some of them to attack this thread like kamikazes on steroids but i am really surprised.

This has been discussed so many times it's not even funny.
I love both ME1 and ME2 (though I slightly prefer the 2nd, to clarify), even though they take different directions-why do people constantly need to argue over which is better? (Because this is the internet, remember their opinion=undisputed fact)
They each have different advantages and disadvantgaes, but both are great games that can be enjoyed a great deal.

ME1 was good on the first playthrough. After that the game feels dead and stale. ME2 is awesome each time through. That's why for a game based on combat, combat mechanics are the most important element in design, despite what all the dungeons and dragons people will try to say.
I suppose you're one of those players that can't handle really big words and has trouble counting to 20.
Oh, and just to be clear:
<---Dungeons and Dragons Person.

Your personal attacks weaken your argument.
<---Dungeons and Dragons Person. Also enjoys pulp shooters. And ME1. And ME2. Prefers ME2.
