This is the picture on the official Dragon Age 2 podcast, second eppisode on the Art direction.
I know these are early concept art, they mostly look great (especially the female Qunari!), but what about the human female? To me, her hips are like, down too low, and her legs just look....wierd. Shes still sexy though. I dont know.
What does everyone else think

A drawing isn't the same thing as what the character model will look like--I have to disregard the concept for most of what the races will look like.

It's the hipster style pants shes wearing, I don't think it would look out of place if she was wearing the same as the female elf.
Pants? I don't see no pants, erm...............

Though they are vast improvements over the DA: Origin "knikers", I see nothing hipster about them. Perhaps the OP is seeing the drool/tatto/whatever under her lips. I would think that tatto would of been better suited on the Qunari or elf, or just nixed completely.

I thought that was a jazz beard!.
My understanding of hipster style was that they sat on the hips, but nevermind that horse****, here comes Mongo!

the tattoo on her jaw is horrible, other than that, just fine
It looks like they lopped her head off a different piece of art and stuck it on the human female body.

This is Zevran.
But I like the human female. I really like the elf's hair. I hope they don't do unique hairstyles like with mass effect and Morrigan.

Well the chin tattoo on the female human it kinda reminds me of the tattoos the maori females and males have on their chin. If you think of it that way it doesnt seem so weird.

"maori females"
Pehaps I'm missing something, or need to be better enlightened? Who are these maori? Is this common knowledge?

New Zealand Maori. I don't want to say much about them, because I honestly know very little, but... I suppose the simplest - and self-induced ignorance on my part - way to look at them is to think of them as New Zealand's version of Native Americans, except they're far more prominent in their society. Lots and lots of tribal tattoos.

Nice art, The human female chin tat looks like facial hair though.
Looks like the same "paint brush" stroke of the male's beard, no? I thought the same................
