I think you don't quite know how reproduction works, my friend.

You know how unicorns procreate with Qunari?

Dave. That was one of the "Surprise me" options in the Pearl.

Srsly, you need to play that game, n00b.

I am now officially creeped out. Time for me to head over to 4chan for awhile to regain my mental equilibrium.

I do believe that the Qunari, a giant race unable to create large transport ships to fit their species, had to develop a superior version of the breast-stroke in order to increase their swimming distance without getting tired. Horns might have been used in the process and would explain why there's so many horned Qunari while the unhorned ones drowned in the middle of the ocean (with a few survivors to create the unhorned variety)

They used Unicorns, which have an amazing swimming ability for equines.

You're silly, Unicorns can't swim. They create rainbow bridges.

Dwarves in green outfits with scottish accents stole it.

We call them the Wilder Dwarves, dwarves who were forced out of the Deep Roads during the Darkspawn invasion and had to learn to live in the trees.

That's reference to another mytical creature: The mer-man/maid.

Aimo has managed to make the Alicorn look sweet and wholesome. How the---? That's just....I think she's a sorceress.

rerail: So, if you met a lone Qunari in the woods or on the road or something, what would your interaction with him be like? I don't think he would kill you, but would he try to forcibly take you back to Par Vollen for indoctrination? Ignore you completely? If you were both warriors would he challenge you to a fight? Would it depend on what his job was?

Or would you be unlikely to encounter one at all outside Par Vollen or the battlefield?

I'd think that if you met a lone Qunari in Thedas, it would be more likely that they're Tal-Vashoth. But I also think that unicorns secretly run around impaling people on their horns, so, you know...

Only if you insult little kids with "Unicorn Power" tshirts on.

Anyway it's a hypothetical so I guess you can amend that to a party of Qunari if you wish.

I do. But I tend to insult everything. Poor habit.

I vote for a Tal-Vashoth with a pet burning bush as a squadmate.

About the literal leashes that the Mages are kept on.

Are they similar to the a'adam(sp) that appears in the Wheel of Time Series? Where someone of little magical ability, and control someone of great magical ability through a collar around the great's neck and then a wrist band around the little's wrist?

Where they can put pain, and other emotions into the controlled through the leash? Also at the same time if user tries to remove the leash while wearing it, their hand knots up and they physically can not remove it.

EDIT: On a side question, how do female Quanri really view other races? Are there roles that take them outside of Par Vollon?  Would their be a possible female Quanri romance planned in the works?

It would make sense for both the mage and their keeper to be bound by the leash, as it would help to prevent any possible colusion between the two regarding escape, as they would be a lot easier to catch when tethered
