They only released one patch for ME2. None of them fixed the import bugs or the Itch bug.

If I'm not mistaken, if the Conrad bug is indeed in ME1 (which it probably is), then that would mean ME1 would need to be patched, not ME2.

Wrong. 1.01 and 1.02. Check the patch page. I have no idea what the Itch bug is and I'm sure there's a reason they haven't fixed the import bug. It's probably way more major than you think. If that's the case I have a bad feeling this could be ME2's Garrus' face.

More cut BS from Bioware. Thanks Didy, the more you show us this, the more apprant it is that ME2 was rushed out the door.

I don't think it was rushed, necessarily.  Virtually every game has bugs.  Also consider that audio is one of the most space-intensive resources on the disc.  In order to fit it the game on some maximum number of discs (and to get it to fit on Xbox drives) they probably had to cut or change a lot of content that they otherwise may have left.

BS! If that was the case, then give as as free DLC. There is no excuse.

half the choices you make are flaged wrong in ME2 or don't show up

This should have been part of the main game, in fact Kasumi had dialoig before she even came out, plus the Hamerhead was ment to come with the game but they ran out of time. So much evidence proves that ME2 was rushed out the door.
Zaeed
Kasumi
The Hammerhead
Normandy crash site

I think the Normandy crash site was removed because originally we were supposed to start the game as Legion searching for Shepard's body and Shepard was originally intended to "wake up" in a Geth base... but they scrapped it and went with Cerberus instead.

Ok I get rid of the crash site, that still leaves Zaeed, the Hammerhead and Kasumi, three thing that where ment to ocme out with the game, which they did not because ME2 was rushed. Not to mention the issues with the choices. If the choices are bugged and you know it, don't advertise it.

Zaeed and Kasumi where deffently NOT ment to be in the game, If they where why wheren't they even given proper  implementaion? SO what their audio was was on the disc? Alot of games put **** on the disc and then just unlock it later. DLC is planned when the game is planned, On top of that Voice Acting is one of the first things done in the production process. and done before modeling and animations are done. That audio was probably throw on the disc so we wouldn't have to download it all in DLC. Kasumi's audio is at least a a couple hunderd MB alone.

If you wanna see a rushed character cut from final production then put back on as DLC in a Bioware game. look at Shale from DA:O his impalmentaion is seemless with the other characters, Zaeed and Kasumi, are obvious addons and planned as so.

and if the Hammer head was always ment to be in the game why does not one area in the entire game on the disc not show anywhere you would even possibly use the hammer head?

Bioware has some explaining to do. It had better be a society shaking revelation too.

Yeah, which Bioware/EA may not see as profitable. Then again, shouldn't they have noticed this early in QA/bug-testing and warned people about this? And if there was an ME1 import glitch, why even record audio for the version no one will listen.

I hope they will patch it, however they do it. I mean, we are not talking about the same team who works on Dragon Age.

Okay, I don't care if I have to go back to ME1 and start all over from scratch - I want this and all the other save file transfer glitches fixed so much it's not even funny.

This is great stuff.

I will play all three back-to-back again anyway- and this would make it all complete. A trilogy like this deserves it.

First, I don't havet he pC version, and the first patch only fixed PC issues, not overall game issues, the patch that came out for both systems. So yes, ME2 only got one patch, unles you have the pC version.

The only mission that is bugged in ME as far as I can tell is the medical one. The Conrad and the others are not, it's a issue with the importing, something Bioware should have tested. The point that Bioware kept on advertising the choices with Contad being an examples says alot.

*Sigh*

This pains me to hear this amazing dialogue and I can't hear it in-game. Hale's Paragon response made me lol so hard.

My bad, I apologise. I do have a very strong feeling that Bioware are going to fix this. When Bioware do patches, they do them properly. It would be worse for them to rush a patch to fix this and in the process make it worse or not fix it at all. I'm sure it will get fixed eventually (case and point, the latest DAO patch fixed the issues that Awakening had that meant some of the content would never run).

Wow. That was great. Thanks for the great find!

I am constantly telling my non-gamer friends that games essentially arrive on the store shelves broken or unfinished. I tell them that games are huge and mistakes happen. It's the nature of the beast and most bugs are small and (eventually) get fixed. Then I see something like this and ask myself if sometimes they just don't give a sh*t.

*sad face* I wish Conrad didn't accuse me of doing something I didn't even do, it's very un "mass effect" of them, really. For non-pc players, theres zero chance of it ever getting fixed huh?

Nobody's version can fix it, it's just audio files Didy dug up.

agreed, it really needs a fix. especially since not fixing it almost certainly means it won't import correctly into ME3 either

Good to know the crap carryover wasnt entirely intentional, as that would have been quite enjoyable had they actually put it in game properly. Same with all the news reports they screwed up. Nice one Bioware.

If you change the flags using the save editor before visiting that planet make any difference?

I did that multiple times because I only ever got the "shoved a gun in my face" response from Conrad, to no avail though.
Always getting the same response from him, and I NEVER shoved a gun in his face in ME1, not once in my 30+ playthroughs of that Game...
