I will buy the game, as a console gamer I have loved BioWare's games since Jade Empire as much as I enjoyed their games as PC gamer from Baldurs Gate 2 until KOTOR.

How come only the comments with some semblance of grammatical structure mention LOTR?, is OP immitating Gollum?

If you do not buy it and lower pc sales all you are doing is providing more evidence that this is the right move.

Ironic, isn't it?

Game more console focused= lower pc sales

Bioshock 2 sold poorly on pc compared to Bioshock.

I have already pre-ordered this.  The game is not being designed for consoles.  The console version is being redesigned to play to console strengths.  The PC version will not be the same as the console version in respect to game play mechanics.

Now, the game mainly sold on console, so we're going the way of the audience.

and your info is "rubbish" it's already been said by the BW team that PC is being designed toward PC strengths and console toward it's strengths....Now that I know where you're getting your info, I can say it's just as full of it as you are apparently.

DA:O is a good PC game by any mean. So, why it has sold more on the consolle? Find a reasonable answer or try again.

Always blame pirate. Pirate pirate pirate.
Maybe game sell better on console ebcause everyone too poor ot noy educated enough to build pc? Like granny children with wii, yes?

I've allways played on my PC. I think that a gaming PC is not costly as they make it sound if you know what you're doing and it's a superior gaming platform by any mean (I admit that there are configuration issue but imho they are overrated). I never bought a consolle and I'm not interested in buying one (even if I have nothing against consolle players: to each his own).

But still, even PC games that are not exclusive sold better on consolle. So? If it's not piracy, what's the reason? You know that even indie games developed by small companies are pirated to death? If we do not realize that it's THE problem of PC gaming, we will go nowhere.

There are many problems with PC gaming, but does that discount from its superiority? Maybe a little, but I personaly think the piracy (which is a daunting issue) is becomming second chair to "accessibility".

With that said, consoles are catching up, and will soon be able to render some very unique experiences for the young generation at hand.

Will PCs have the upper-hand? Yes, always. I love my PC, built it from scratch, but social networking has become more important to me and ( I am assuming) to others.

Still console game regardless.  Ghost Recon: Warfighter.  Console game at heart, we play console game attempt hide console gaming. Not good enough. No CRPG, Mass Effect mainstream turd.

Ok....I see what's going on here.  Rubbish is just trolling at this point.  Ok everyone, time to move along here, nothing to see and mind you not feed the troll on the way out.

It was my fault: I should have not replied at first to a blatant troll that writes like an idiot .

I'll definitely be buying it, and the news that the Toolset will be easily ported over from DAO to DA2 makes me even more excited. We should get some outstanding mods for the game right from the release date.

Rubbish Hero is a bit extreme, but his/her fears are far from unfounded (Reminds me of Rorschach from Watchmen). I've found that whenever PR speak brags about something you find questionable, it's time to be worried. Also I've seen when they try to talk down the fans that are upset about the developments that, more often then not, they're simply placating them until the game comes out.

I've seen all this before with ME2. There is zero reason for me to expect something different.

And YOU think that just because there is a dialog wheel and a speaking hero that it's aimed at console gamers? What kind of uninformed, twisted sense of logic is that?  Seriously, you need help Posted Image

To be honest, I think anyone posting here is probably so passionate about Dragon Age that they will buy the sequel, whatever they say now. :)

...sometimes browsing this forum is like watching clowns in the circus - it absolutely makes no sense what they are doing and yet it is funny...

Go read the article on kotaku again, they have updated it.

I will buy the game, because I love the world of Dragon Age. I don't need to know if the game itself will be good or bad; in any case I'd need to experience it first hand! If it will be good (which I firmly believe based on what the people that count have said) i will sing a song of praise from the roof tops and will play it over and over again, if it is bad, I will put it quietly away and do something else...

Almost true....The ONLY thing that will disuade me from buying it is if there is no NG+.  Seriously, had I known that DAO didnt have one, Id have only rented it instead of wasting 60 bucks Posted Image

What elektrego and I'm sure other's may have said. I do not trust reviews from ANY source, so that's off the table. The only other input I'll have will be to play it myself and decide. With that said, I have it pre-ordered but will change it if a Collector's Edition becomes available.
